Hehe. Just wondering what everyone elses favourite games are at the moment since i myself had quite few changes in opinion recently.

1: Call of duty 4, the graphics and gameplay are brilliant. Sp is amazing with an amazing Mp to back it up.

2: Stalker shadow of chernobyl, the graphics are good and the atmoshere amazing. Sp is brilliantly, amazingly wonderful, but mp is a let down. and although it is so good already there is so so so much to improve on. hopefully clear sky will be what i imagened SoC to be.

3: I struggled here but in the end it has to be ut3. because while the base game is good, it is not brilliant. However with so much modding potential. it ranks here.

some games im looking forward to are, clear sky, far cry 2 and the next call of duty by infinity ward which will be released quickly, stick to the same story just a bit later on and be even better than cod4!... Please !lol

Don't get me started,rating my games is pointless...
Buuut I'll give it a try*hears angry mumbles from CD cases*

1.UT series,I'm not going into a specific one because I'm here for the mods,I practically don't give a hoot for the actual games.

2.Diablo2/Lord of destruction,this game would clearly make it if the UT series didn't have such a robust modding community.

3.Freelancer,Mods also boosted this one up in my book,this one gave me much too much gameplay time and enjoyment to not be listed here.

Honerable mentions.Total annihilation,Star Wars Jedi Knight ii:Jedi Outcast,Mechwarrior series,The Orange Box(Not a game specifically,but what fool wouldn't buy this?),Galactic Civilizations 1 and 2,Battlefield series(It is good when your not overrun by idiots),The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion.

Please take note that these are MY top 3 games,I'm not reviewing anything I don't have.

Games/software I'm looking forward to...
Spore(looks way too interesting),Duke Nukem Forever(I just wana see what happens after a millenia :p ),The Great Swarm Of UT3 Mods!!!,Mass Effect(I really need to bag this sometime),BWBP4(RS I'm watching !mistrust )

My top 3 games will be placed according to how much I play them.

1. UT2004 (Including Editor and all its mods)
2. Garrysmod
3. Freelancer

Others which are really cool: Oblivion, CoD2, Portal, Other OrangeBox Games, Bioshock, X3 Reunion and a few others.




You mentioned freelancer!!!

I remember wasting so damn much time on it. Gonna do it again ^^ I'm clan leader of the UTM (Universal Traders and Miners)
For people who dont know, Freelancer is a fun space simulation game with fantastic multiplayer gameplay. Older game though.

For a quick 2 min game - Rocket Commander. Its supprisingly addictive.

I've got UT3, but until I get a decent new computer and there are some decent mods out - its not in the top 3.

Well this is the UTM, not UT.
Universal Traders and Miners = players
Universal Traders = npc.

when making the clan I didnt rly thiink about the npc faction.

Arrgh, so many great games... but at the moment :

1. UT2004
2. Command & Conquer 3
3. Oblivion

But if I had to say of all time for me ? Hmmm...

1. UT2004 (never left that one since it's out)
2. Freelancer (I tried X3 Reunion but too complicated (no tutorial !sad ), though I hope to see a space opera as easy to handle as freelancer, with a big universe and as much possibilities as X3)
3. Age of Wonders : Shadow magic (hope for a new version from devs. too)

But there's all those great games too : Heretic 1&2, Doom 1&2, Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Starcraft, Ragnarok Battle Offline, Morrowind +addon&mod, Battle Realms, Diablo 1&2, Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape Torment, Fallout series, Jedi knight series (but especially the first one) and last but not least : Alien Versus Predator 2 !heart

It was hard to choose the best one from this list !lol

Actually I have a lot of respect for the Kapn who wrote "Trespasser" in n°1 !!!!

I've played like ... 1h to this game and got fed up of the system of gameplay and uninstalled it !
Then, seeing poeple saying there were good things out from it, I reinstalled it (some month later) and tried to play a bit more... This game was definitely not for me ! And wondered how could poeple enjoy this game ?
So, the Kapn, RESPECT ! !lol

System shock 2 and Deus Ex are great games... You say this because they're getting really old ?
Eeeh, Sometimes I'm still playing Heretic, even Shadowcaster and some other oldies *blushing*

Starcraft was in the best games of history, I wonder if Stacraft 2 will be part of it ?
Guess Blizzard won't disapoint us again ! !lol

3. SOF 1/2, haven't tryed SOF payback yet. But I had great fun shooting apart human pieces :P
