In the year 2003, UT2003 was released (go figure). A year later, a more polished and more complete version of UT2003 was released; it was called UT2004. After that, the suckers who bought UT2003 could stick with what they had, or upgrade to what UT2003 should have been in the first place and buy UT2004. So, think there will be a UT3.5? Am I one of those poor suckers who fell for Epic's devious marketing exploit? |

I kinda doubt it. UT2k4 brought a whole lot of content (Vehicles, vehicle-centric game modes, etc.) to the series. I can't think of anything they could possibly add to justify a UT3.5 to sell to the public. Any new official content will probably come in patches or bonus packs. |

Hmm, hard to answer, I would say No in a first answer (same reason as Kaboodles). But since UT3 was a bit screwd by dev. team, they may realease a "better" version though I doubt it. |

I highly doubt it. But UT2003 actually felt like a finished product until we had UT2004 to compare it to, so who knows what might happen? Time will tell. |

Yes, UT2003 was still in the same vein as Quake , UT99, ... Vehicles were rather for games like battlefield, starsiege, ... |

Vehicles fit UT2004's Onslaught gametype nicely, though they are poorly implemented. |

Like you guys have a clue... UT3 has every feature of a UT2003-esque game: Little amount of maps, limited amount of gametypes (no BR or INV). Although there will probably just be bonus packs to fix those problems, we can't say for sure there won't be an extended version of UT3 released in the future. |

Ooh yes, I remember that... If an addon is made, it will be for a price although it will be less expensive ! But it's not the habbit of Epic to make addons so ... |

eh.... im still sticking with "its not gonna happen". Maybe extra content that we will have to pay for(but will become free over time), but i dont think a whole new game. |

Sure new weapon/vehicle/character packs that are up to par with Runestorm standards may cost a little, but they better not make people pay for the features that have been removed from UT3 that were present in all previous iterations, such as a menu that has some real customization, as UT2004 and UT99 had. Oh, and Bjossi, I like the way you think. Birth is the leading cause of death. |

I guess you're kinda right. Aside form those who have not yet died of old age, 100% of all peopl who ahve smoked in the past have died. I guess that could be applied to everyhting. The presence of PETA is killling the world's populatoin. |

After a while UT3 will be very cheap, even for us young people with low-payment jobs. That is the time I will go for it. By then there'll probably be plenty of custom stuff to download, Invasion and a RPG mutator would my top priorities. |
