WARNING SPOILERS: In Half-life 1,in the end,on the tram,with gman,he gives you 2 choices,step through the portal or stand there,after which he will teleport you into a situation that ensures your death. But one thing has bugged me for some time ever since I thought of it.What if you jump off the tram? I never tried it and never will,I am curious if anyone else has tried it. I know that in the starting sequence tram you can jump off,here,it would probably be a sort of odd,perhaps satisfiying way of defying gman. |

what would happen if you jump off? is it: A: DEATH!! D: B: Nothing or C: land into happy candy land. imput your votes now!! but seriously, i never tried it. im too lazy and dont really want to play half life right now. but i guess you die somehow. |

It is very likely that it is death,but always consider these facts. There is that log that pops up telling the condition of freeman after the encounter,what would it say(probably death but who knows) Remember that this is a Valve game,they are notorious for predicting the antics of gamers and coding the game to have a result for almost anything some brainiac can come up with.(example in HL2 throwing dog's ball out over the cliff) |

I thought I tried this and I thought there was collision boxes o prevent me from jumping off. Not sure though. |

If Valve didn't plan a third option, then if you manage to jump out of the tram, you will fall down to the bottom of the invisible room around the tram. |

Isn't the door to jump out where that portal was located?? That's what I remembered. |
