Hey all!

I just found this browsing unreal playground. At first i couldn't beleive it but they have made a new Face (yes the map)!

It conains three maps in all.

DM-Morbias
Ctf-Searchlight
And the one the only Ctf-Face!

I bet James and UP are gonna love this. Those are the only UT3 players except LtClifff here, as far as I know at least.

Dammit man you beat me.

Man, i'm downloading it as i type. man i can't believe that Epic has already sent us a BonusPack, let alone labeling it BonusPack1, which automatically means we'll have at least a 2 and a 3. Now MORE CTF AND WAR MAPS!

Just played through them all and i'm loving them, sucks that the preview picture/map descriptions aren't showing (War Tourist aka Jeff Morris said on BU that they will consider a relaunch that fixes that and other problems), even then, SearchLight and FacingWorlds are really amazing, and i'm enjoying Morbias, since its a little brighter and more open compared to a version done by a community member.

Morbias and Face are just as good as they always were, though I haven't tried the Searchlight one yet.

Searchlight is quite good, tricky to get around at first, but you get used to it. Real difference twist on the Necris theme.

Not bad, but there is so much bloom/HDR that it is like the in-game character forgot to put his glasses on. %-6

Only on face, the other two are fine. And if they do release a patch to fix the varios issues, then the Bloom should definately lowered.

Its only showing up cause of the distance. Look at Red base compared to Blue, much less bloom.

I personally think Facing Worlds got a face lift to the better. It's a classic map with a new and fresh look; I was getting tired of Facing World's space theme.

I Agree, if they had gone and made a complete remake, i would have been dissapointed, I would also be dissapointed
if it was more like the face from 2k4. As it is i Think they did a good job, now i am just waiting for a menu
preview, num players and description.

Ya, Epic will have a BonusPack1.1 to fix that.

I just hope someone remakes CTF-Face_tech (or whatever they called it). it was in one of the CXP's and it was my favorite CTF map (besides Bridge of Fate and all the CTF maps from UCMP/CXP).

It's TechDream, no? great map, by the way!

I have UT3 in my PC, but I think that UT3 lacks gametypes, maps... I will wait some time, but we are already getting a lot of mods now(rpg, invasion, BR, and DOM(4 teams!)). but UT2004 is better now. and this face is making me willing to play UT3...(yeah, I like to cut some heads)

Yep, Well Domination (I'm a co-project leader of the UT3DOM mod) should be out by April if all goes well.
