what does that mean (topic) and how do i fix it
it keeps terminating the UT 2004 and i can't start the game
can i please get some help.PLEASE (haven't posted this b/c i'm bored or anything)

I had this happen to me once, out of nowhere. What fixed it was rebooting the PC.

i've read on the other sites that somethimes that didnt helped
i really have a lot of downloads everywhere and dont want to lose data or uninstall the game
what should i do-should i reinstall the game,restart the PC, leave it to go away by itself or think of something


maybe i should reboot it first then try something else b/c i might have received this somewhere else but still no clue
i remember. i saw this messaege or something simmilair when i tried to download the ballistic weapon pack 4
although it worked!?

i rebooted it but it's still the same :((

You see, when you install custom content for UT2004, it never overwrites the core files of the game. Any C++ runtime errors are related to the executable and/or the dll files. If you did not modify these files in any way, then the game should load up fine. I mean, weren't you playing BW without any problems earlier.

Just reboot the PC and see what happens. It worked for me, might work for you too.

i did. nothing again and i didnt had any problems with the BW and havent touch anything in the system files nor others

You should keep backups of your downloaded files.

how about maps?
in other forums i've read that it might be causedof several things:
corruption of data files
bad RAM memory(?)
or wrong or incorrect installation of mods or mutators(which is very little %)-i THINK i installed a mutator wrong and it didnt worked
so if i uninstall the game would all my mods mutators maps patches screenshots bonus packs and other downloads for the game will not be lost
do i have to make a folder for all the UT 2004 and transfer all the data there?
Do i have to delete everything from the folder C:/UT2004 or just leave it and just go to uninstall the game?
so what uglypants is saying is to keep the downloads (extra ones for the game) and keep them and delete the files of the UT folder? Yes?

when i when to uninstall the game it says
uninstall BW V2.1
BWBP-4
UT 2004
when i click 3rd box it checks and locks the top 2
does that mean that i have to uninstall them too

Yeah, I'm afraid so.

All mods, maps and other custom files will be kept if you did not use an UMOD installer. If you installed them manually with a zip file, then they will stay.

Any patches will be lost, keep that in mind.

So basically, keep a backup of all patches and custom stuff and install all of it again after reInstalling the game. If you deleted the zip/umod files, then you will have to redownload them.

Patches , Never though of that coming.
i installed it and it worked and also deleted some of the files and my mods but thats okay i'll download them again
