Pretty much like UT2004's but with more categories, including


"Best New Weapon Set
Enter during Phase 3
Build your buffet of death-dealing hardware and they will come! These weapons should be balanced and play together well. "

So, this would be an amazing opertunity for even just a side project by Runestorm, just put in your old weapons, fine tune them and add better effects and crap and vailo, your pretty much done. It doesn't matter if the content is 2 years old cause you've said many times BW is easily UT3 quality.

So up to the challenge RuneStorm?

The MSU again? I dunno. It got a lot of good mods kick started for UT2k4, but failure to follow through on the contest by Epic led to a lot of the best and brightest authors of that age of Unreal mods to quit in frustration. Mr Evil's 'weapons of evil' being but one example.

Really? That's news to me... not that I've ever dug too much into the UT2004 MSU.

I find it kinda funny that at planetunreal.com, they have a quote of Mark Rein pressuring modders to make non-FPS games. Then, they go on to talk about how RO, an FPS game, won the last one. lol.

Unless Mr Evil said himself that he lost interest in WoE due to not winning MSUC, that statement will remain a theory at best, not a proven or unproven fact.
