it kinda feels like ur drunk when your walking around, and some times my mouse flips out and my gun is turning all over the screen. i will try turning the graphics down and stuff, maybe that will help. are there only two maps? are there any maps that aren't made by you guys but would work well with BW? now that we got game types can some one host a dang server? can any of you imagine BW online????? i cant do it because my computer is mental.............. are there any new weapons, i want my duel uzies! BW skins would rock too, the ut skins kinda ruin the experience of BW. congrats to the BW team, the mod looks so slick! good job guys! ******* edit ******* i am working with my lag problems but i cant get my screen to stop spinning. it looks like i am being flash banged or something. the whole screen turns white. any one else having this problem? help! ****** edit again ****** my rockets still blow up in my face when i shoot them, locked on or unlocked on to a target. it just comes back and hits me in the face. hmmm.. thats not cool.. we had no probs like that..:unsure: only the two maps for now.. we have made more, but they will be released sometime in the future. They come with a big texture pack.. weapons are also planned for later, and the UZI's are looking high oin the list;) skins are also being considered.. need to work a bit more on them.. those rockets still do that?? man.. have to look into that some more.. for now, enjoy!:) |

you see, i am cool with the rockets but it is REALLY hard to play with my screen spinning/turning white every 10seconds. this didn't happen in any previous versions. is any one elses getting this? i have gotten the game down to almost no lag though YAY. but the spinning/white screen problem took over. btw, thanks for the insight on the UZI's. will you be able to use two at once? LOL just imagine the recoil. that is gonna rock :woohoo: i am not trying to stress you guys out but i was really looking forward to this, it looks way better and plays better. i just hope i am not the only one having this spinning problem. i just played Frag-Ops and my mouse is working fine so............. ***** edit ***** it appears that when the laser sight of the handgun is pointed at my player by a bot, my screen freaks out. it happened 100% of the time. i have also noticed that certain lighting/effects makes my screen freak out. I won´t be able to try this version out until I get home tomorrow so I can´t tell if we have the same issue. But as I said in the Support thread, RS will probably be able to fix it with a minor patch. |

well, now i am not sure if it is the laser sight or not (tested it). it's most likely a coding thing like you said...................... |

It must be a coding thing if it didn´t happen in 1.5. Have you tried to play without any of BW stuff and see if it happens outside the mod as well? |

Then it is most likely a BW bug. I hate when fixing one bug creates another, it causes an infinite loop of patches. I go through the same thing when making my D3 mods. |

i played regular ut2004 with no mutators or any thing. every one has to be experiencing this (thats my guess any way.....) i hope there is a fix, it really steals the fun away. my screen turns red, white, or just spins! |

Jees... I can't imagine how this could happen:huh: Nothing anywhere like this happened with all our testing... And we've run this on some pretty old and new machines. (Although never a MAC) White screen, red screen? I don't know? It makes no sense... Nothing is set to change your screen color like that anywhere, ever! Spinning? what kind of spinning? Does it always coincide with the white/red screen? Maybe its got something to do with your video card or whatever. Try chaning settings, resolution and renderer. Maybe it happens when your GPU is getting hot or something like that... Maybe get a screenshot or two of these problems... |

i cant explain the white or the red, but sometimes my screen just starts spinning at 100mph (my gun flips out too some times, and when it stops spinning it ends up at a view which doesn't exist but then it goes back to normal) i played on a medium and a low render, but BOTH with LOW detail. the white and red are caused by some BW effect i think.............. i will try to email you some screen shots, but be warned my email is mentally retarded. and my screen doesn't always change color, it can still be normal while spinning. You did clean out the old version before installing new new one? Version mismatches can occur in very strange ways. Also, maybe this has something to with Macs, we just need another Mac player to confirm it. |

You could upload the image somwhere else and link it to here. But I know exactly what you are experiencing, I got this spinning screen all the time when I played UT2003 RPG, it was caused by insane damage that I survived. This was fixed in the UT2004 version. But I never got the colored screen... |

Hey, I've got the spinning bug as well, also on a mac. Fresh install, seems to happen randomly, but usually when I first switch to weapon I haven't used yet. |

I think i just found a way to replicate the bug. I was playing a normal map before playing 1.6 with Weapons of Evil and Ut2k4 RPG. I set the gravity to minus 1000000000000000000000000000000. I jumped. My screen started spinning up really fast, id say 1 rotation per half sec. It wouldnt stop. I kept getting it to work. Whenever i jumped ang got a spin, i got a wacky health that went off screen. One visible set of numbers was 77####. I suspect there was more off screen. thats on reagular DM. |

It is being worked on, and I'm sure they will release a small patch soon, then update the main release. |

Umm...Yes that is a problem. We have image uploading turned off for security, but I will look at turning it on for future, as I'm sure there is a need for it... |

He is on a Windows as far as I know, but for some strang reasons no Windows player and 2 Mac players have reported this problem. How is the Mac version different anyway? :S |

How is the Mac version different anyway? :S ut2004 has LESS features on a mac than pc than to begin with. of course there is only one vr. of BW. |

Ok, this the kind of bug we really like (sorry, I mean really hate!). We can't really test it ourselves cos we don't got no mac, but... Do you get injured or killed when the bug happens? Anything else happen or just spinning and red/white screen. Does it stop? When? Can you get us a screenshot or 2? BTW. The Ballistic mod has absolutely no considderation for what kind of platform you are running... That is Unreals job to worry about how to make stuff work on different platforms. None of the code ever tells BW to behave differently depending on the system... Perhaps its got something to do with performance??? Try turning down all your settings and see if there is any change in the bug... Hopefully we can figure this out...

ok no, you dont die or get damaged i have white and red screen pics (no way to get them here though) it stops usually within 2-3 seconds seems to happen with guns you just pick up nothing else happens to the screen (just spins and changes color to white or red) no, its not a performance problem. i have tested on many different settings. really sucks when playing online! But James, as I mentioned in another thread, you could take a look at the log file after a screen spin and look for clues. |
