Hi all. So we know now that BW team is out for bussines (UT3 i mean) but what about ut2k4 then ? who will work on future releases for ut2004 ? ...and is it some certain plans about which weapons would be in next bonus pack or something...it would be great to know just A LITTLE details...thanks in advance ... |

I personally believe that sticking to Ut04 for awhile would be beneficial. Not everyone has money to throw around to play Ut3 let alone a very high detailed weapon mod. |

But the majority of serious gamers do, so how would it be beneficial to stay with a game that loses a part of it's playerbase every day? The future should always be the top priority if you want your hard work to be appreciated by the biggest crowd. |

I'm a serious gamer and with the future of Americas economy fading into..how do I wanna say this..a "Crap Hole" soon I wont be able to afford the bare essentials, like some Bawls and a game or two or a graphics card that can run Ut3 decently, my x1600 which was 200$ a year and a half ago cant play ut3 with any of the graphical settings over 3 without eternal lag. Just a prediction but I have a feeling that if the economy takes a dip in the lake of suckyness the rate of piracy is gonna rise. Lets not hope so. Sorry for the rant but I just had some stress building. |

I don't think it is too much of RS to want payment for their hard work. A big part of the mod was made entirely for free so they have already devoted a big amount of freetime to give us a great mod. |

The question is how much longer the community will live as a BW community, because right now I think quite a few of us come here solely to chat with the regulars. I have played BW a total of few hours since January, so my motives for staying here is that I like the people and chatting about anything and everything with them. |

Ya know There are more fans out there than this forum in general. And I bet that is why they bought UT3 their waiting for another release from RS but ya know its probably gonna be awhile since I heard coding for UT3 a B  .
But oh well I can't wait for whats next

Well, all I will say is, the wait will be worth it
( but that is always the case with RS, isn't it ? ) It won't be too much longer before the devs put everyone out of their missery, so just hang in there for a while longer

In the meantime of the devs figuring out UT3 and having fun, I can help tide people over by doing things for my BW mod to make it more fun in the idea of damage realism. That and continue developing my CTF map for 2k4. |
