Btw wasnt the ghost busters movie inspiration for this weapon ?

It seems they are in terms making BW for UT3 but again their giving them a "UT" feel which really gives these guns a fresh look, and also take note that vehicle damage is a must for later versions 
Especially if you can grab a manta and launch it in the air. Warfare and VCTF are Massive gametypes and the last thing on a players mind when flying a Raptor or Cicada is being shot twice with that thing and becoming a smoldering wreck. |

Curse you bastards with your UT3! The new shotgun looks like quite the fatty, which I suppose fits UT3's style. I like it, though it's a little light on features at the moment, and I think the green color looks a little too bright. I'm guessing this is the UT3 equivalent for the MRS138? I do love the rails on the top and pump handle. Is weapon customization something we might see in the future, or is it just for looks at the moment (a la R9)? EDIT: Additional comment: The Thor looks absolutely puny compared to the character models and the old HVC Lightning gun. |

Yeah, i agree with KAboodles, for such a little gun it seems to be able to mash people quite easily
I love the effects when you kill someone, with the charge mode, with slow deaths mutator, its awesome Its like you bleed out of reality of a few seconds as they get ripped apart by the energy, yeah, i put UT3 back on just to try this weapon... |

we intended for it to fit more with UT3.. currently its a standalone weapon, and has nothing to do with BW
the SG is really close now btw
i'm actually extrmely pleased with how it plays in the game currently.. it's damn near perfect

How is UT3 modding, by the way? Other than the higher graphics detail requirements, is it any harder or easier to do? |

It certainly looks beefier than previous offerings. I could buy UT3 at any time through Steam (<3 Steam), and my computer can run it, but it would look ugly as hell. Are there any plans to BW-ify the Thor at some point in the future? |

i can't know how the SG plays as a BW weapon, coz it's the only one of its kind.. it plays good as its own gun
After the LG, and SG, then we'll see where to go next.. Modding in UT3 is very nice.. lotsa stuff to do and remember, and many 'gotchas' all over the place.. we plan on writing a few tutorials later on..
