I’m making a series it will be a sci-fi series set in the year 2057 its about a war between two races the humans and the skirth (fearsome warriors who hate long ranged combat and enjoy stabbing.). The setting for the first episode, about 10,000 feet above the surface of mars the ss. Lo-ping 07(I’m taking suggestions on what to call the ship.) is under attack by the skirth. if you would like to help out please post your resume via comment or by pm-ing me.(preferably by pm-ing me ). Your resume must use this format Your name \and or machinima screen name: Skype name: if you don’t have one make one. You will need it How power full is your pc scale 1 to 10 Internet speed 1 to 10: Body actors will need A copy of ut2004 about 15$ on steam Internet connection The ballistic weapons mod version 2.10 bonus weapon pack 4 you will also need a few other mods for ut2004 but not until later. the voice actors resume must look like this, Your name \and or machinima screen name: Skype name: if you don’t have one make one, you will need it. Short description about what your voice sounds like: Gender: Voice actors must be 100% devoted if they want to quit. I must make an episode where there character dies or find another voice actor who sounds just like them. The voice actors I need; Some with a British accent A female someone with a very deep voice a someone who sounds like a teen-ager about the age of 15 And many more. just send in your resume if you want to help out i need alot of voice actors at the molment. All actors must be 100% willing to work for free (don’t worry I’m not a slave driver) As I don’t intend to make any money from this but if I do I will share it equally with all the actors Depending on what the actors think of the series I may enter it in one of the Machinima Contests but not without all the approval of the actors. 2 things: 1. How the (caps)****(caps) do you know what the Skirth look like when SBand DC have never released any pics of the Skirth to date that we have seen? 2. how do you propose to actually get any of this done? Plus, actors means you need people in one place, not at their homes doing their parts randomly. I don't know people around here who have a green screen so it'd even be remotely possible. |

I don't know people around here who have a green screen so it'd even be remotely possible. i will anwser your questions in the order you asked them. 1)i dont claim to know any thing abot the skirth (other than that they kick #$#) and i was going to make the skirth look like the skaarj you can call this fan-fiction (evin though the mear thought of that makes my stomich churn ) 2) how i plan to get this done im not going to use a green screen why go through all that trouble when all i need is a few people a inter-net connection, a few voice actors, and a copy of ut2004 fraps and you have all the things you need im not makeing a live action movie just a short seres of films useing spectator mode on ut2004 here are some examples the victory 04 seres epsode1 http://youtube.com/watch?v=CoYxddKy1NM a more famous seres red vs blue http://youtube.com/watch?v=ljVXKDJGa1U i hope this clears things up just so you know im not makeing it a comedy so i guess these r bad examples. but there are plenty of examples here http://www.machinima.com/ |

Ohhhhhhh, so a RvB style type thing. That's more viable. Well at least that has been cleared up. I'd still have to see about trying this.... after you can get a few episodes put together. I'm not entirely sure this would work still... |

RvB style videos shouldn't be too hard; Rooster Teeth did that on the Xbox, for crying out loud, and here we have a fully moddable PC game. Granted, I have no experience with such stuff, but once you have a script laid out and voices (assuming the voice actors are briefed on the emotional state and such), then you just wiggle the characters' heads and get a few friends to help act out someone shooting something. |

oh and rooster teeth did season's 1 and 2 on the computer (useing halo 1 and 2 pc) then they used the x-box actually i can make the whole 1st epsode with only one actor, my self and a few voice actors. all i need to do is first have one person act out the scene. then down load a level where it's all one color and crop the actor in to the cene simple |

He's not trying to sue you and I've edited your post. We don't want to give Runestorm a bad reputation by promoting stolen material. Also, the species is called Skrith, not Skirth. |
