I've been thinking about downloading the crysis demo and trying it out but I dont know if my new rig is up for the challenge. I heard a lot of mixed opinions on the internet. I'll give you my PC specs and let you guys decide. RAM: 2 gb CPU intel core to quad (each core is 2.4 ghz) 8600 gts DirectX 10 Over 512 of VRAM |

You can handle it. I got Intel E6850 3.0 ghz dual core 2 GB RAM 8800GTS 640MB and DX 9 I can play Crysis on high settings (probably would be able to on highest, but you need DX10 for that, and I'm not switching to Vista). It plays very well with only occasional stuttering when stuff is first loading up. You would probably be able to get medium settings at least. The only way to find out for sure is to download the demo and try it out. Besides, what's the worst that could happen? |

It will handle just fine. I play it with a P4 3.0Ghz HT, 1Gb RAM, and a 7800GTX. Plays on low very nice, medium with a bit of tweaking, so you will be more thank ok. |

You got a video card only one generation older than nVidia's most recent line-up, and a processor with 4 cores clocked 2.4 GHz each. Add the 2 gigs of RAM and the answer should be fairly obvious. This is like asking if Iron Man has the physical strength to beat up a 12 year old or not.
