Heh, I remember the petition for Uwe Boll to stop making such horrible movies. http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/04/06/uwe ... ignatures/ He said he would stop if he got 1,000,000 signatures. So far he's gotten 300,000. Though most of these fake-ish, video game related petitions end up going nowhere. |

I find it very... watchable now. Considering I saw one of the more original.... beta ones... yeah. The very early one had flashing colors background. You should have seen the response people had about it on (site name). BTW, (site name) isn't a bad name, it's just that.... I personally am not posting it up so people don't try to look for it. Not bad name, but more mature site = (site name) replacing site's actual name. Edit: That newgrounds song.... sucks. Needs 2 things: 1. MORE COWBELL 2. not to even be this song. Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2, a racer i never heard of. Take two, huh? I know that take two had co-existed with croteam to make Serious Sam 2, a game that was almost perfect, except that it had a few problems. A. The weapons: OK, some weapons are great like the Minigun and the Double Barreled shotgun, but what happened to some of the other weapons? The Flamethrower, the Tommygun (My Favorite Weapon in Serious Sam), the knife, and the pump action were axed. B: Updates to weapons: The rocket launcher and the sniper rifle was poorly updated, the rocket launcher in the first two games was awesome! why screw it up? the sniper is now crappier too. And Finally C: Sam himself: Sam's voice is still the same, his shirt and jeans are the same, but the hair, O_o . what happened to his buzzcut? that was more awesome than the look he has today. now i'll shut up. Edit- Drake, what is that avatar about? i've seen it before, but I don't remember what it was called. |

Compared to the first two games, I felt SS2 was a piece of shit. The guns sound almost as lame as the stock UT2 ones, the game world is so cartoony and silly that at times I wanted to puke. Why in the world couldn't they just continue what was a great start? Instead they turned the werebull into a toy rhino, a cannon that could create earthquakes to a wimp that hardly makes a sound, and looks silly to boot. I could bring up examples like these for months. And don't even get me started on the weapon balance. Buuuuut, that isn't the biggest disappointment I have ever experienced, that was Bioshock. (you see a pattern?) So yeah, I stand by my opinion about Take 2. EA can eat them up if they want to, it wouldn't hurt me as a gamer. At least not anymore, now that I've learned my lesson not to invest in the games they poop out. But I am happy that Serious Sam 3 will be published by a different company, Gamecock. We'll see later how that turns out. |
