Silencer, Scope and laser are my choices for assault rifles. A silenced M14 with a scope is all I need.
The ability to silently pierce skulls has aided me many times in Crysis, MGS4, CoD4 and BW.

Simple question, but hard to answer as I find! I personally love reflex sights, laser sights, scopes, and flashlights on my weapons. Of course, that means that if I was to choose for a single gun, it'd be reflex sight and flashlight. |

Depends on the gun. Med/long range: laser sight and high-zoom scope. If I were to design my own sniper rifle for taking out people, then I would also add some sort of short range add-on, such as a bayonet or a tranq shot on a second trigger. Shottys and such: melee attachment. Flashlight is not really useful in the Unreal unverse. High power machineguns, chainguns, etc: high-power gyroscope that moves based on the timing of the shots to minimize verticall recoil, I'd have a seperate knife since I wouldn't be swinging a 50-lb thing to slash at somone. |

Assault rifle: a grenade launcher and a bayonet is a must have. An ACOG scope or a reflex sight is also desriable Pistols: flashlight laser sights Shotguns: tazer Submachineguns: silencer machineguns: not much Or we could implement real time modding like in crysis. |

Medium Grenade Launcher and Reflex Sights for any Assault Rifle (probable 75 damage or tad less/more with large parabolic angle) Light Grenade Launcher & silencer for any SMG (probably slower reload but short range and a bit powerful/dazy to enemy) Reflex Sights for any Machine Gun as well as possible grenade launcher (fast reload, far reach with almost straight angle) Reflex Sights & laser sights for Shotguns Silencer & laser for pistols |

I set my damage scale to 1.65 and the stock can kill in one hit. |

seriously, a silencer for a submachine gun, plus a ACOG. for pistols, maybe laser sights/ high capacity magazines. this is what I used in Rainbow six vegas 2 
a bayonet for assault rifles too. |
