http://www.bungie.net/defaultsi.aspx This came up ever since this morning... so i'm guessing in like 38 hours (counter at bottom right) or so, Bungie is going to announce something at E3. What can it be? Who knows, a new Halo game, a whole new 'nothing to do with Halo' game or just that they wanna see us squirm? |

Uhh... it was finishing the fight with the Covenant, which Masterchief did, so it really wouldn't defeat the purpose... they only said that cause its about you ending the Covenant-Human war... hell from the books and backstories, we know humanity b4 and likely after is at civil war... it'll probably break out again... plus Spartan Kelly (think thats her name) is with the Dr who headed the Spartan II project is still out there as well as a few other spartans i think. I dunno, but i hope its got to do with Halo... i am really loving the impressive story that Bungie has told (cannot wait for Halo Wars... I wanna release date) |

Oh yeah i think i'v seen cut scenes of something from bungie, dont remember where, and yes it was FPS and alien killing again. Perhaps i'm mistaken.

The whole blog on that site was about helping something, presumably an AI, which then later took over the ILoveBees site (I think) and then the author of the blog helped someone defeat the presumed AI. I'd say it kinda fits in the general universe of Halo (or Marathon), in a round about way. Plus the Credits gave thanks to someone, (can't remember who) thanking said person/group for allowing them to do something part of the Halo universe. I wouldn't say its another Halo, and I kinda hope it won't be, but I suspect it will still be in the same universe, maybe even including the Chief, or not, but it will be in the same universe. After all, wasn't Marathon more or less in the same Universe as well? So who knows. |

I was hoping they were going to continue the Myth series back from the late 90's and early 2000's the alert screen disappointed me knowing this is not the case, or Bungie has a serious problem knowing their timelines |

ILB wasn't supposed to look like it was related to Halo. If I recall correctly, the only connection the two had at first was the url showing up in an early Halo 2 ad. This one does look like something. EDIT: DID look like something. Just saw the postponement announcement
