No really, I did! I needed a new processor for my PC to run Assassin's creed. I have a single-core and I need a dual-core. My initial plan was to buy an AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz for about 97$ (US) dollars. I'm so glad my Mom told me to check Amazon.com. There I found the same thing for 50$! Crazy! But that's not the best part. What I found next made me start pinching myself. I'm serious. On the same site, I found a NEW AMD Athlon X2 64 3.0Ghz Processor for only 113$ Bucks! The store price was around 420$! So instead of Getting an x2 2.4Ghz I went with the X2 3.0Ghz that was almost the same price! Man, what a DEAL! I don't mean to brag here, I just want to let you people know that Amazon.com has INSANE prices (in a good way.) |

Sadly, Amazon.com is no longer viable to south Africans 
This is due to the fact that Amazon refuses to send stuff to SA via the normal postal routes, due to the amount of lost/stolen parcels...so if we want from Amazon, we have to use couriers...and that gets very expensive for us South African's.... Sounds a bit like an ad....I'll let it go this once...but next time swift action will be in order... |

Lol, I'm sorry it sounded so much like an ad  . But I'll let you know that I am not a salesman  . I was simply bored and really psyched about my new purchase. After all, thats what the chit-chat section is. I got bored, and I posted something! A story! Horray for story-time!

What carzy person told you that the 3.0GHz Athlon X2 64 retails at $420? Newegg sells it for $120. Still, if it's new, then good 4 u 4 saving $7. If you are tempted by 3.2GHz dual AMD core, then you can get one at $150. If you're so gullible that you'd believe the 3.0Ghz retails at $420, then I'll sell you one for only $350. |
