Just name some achievements that you find impossible, stupid and or obscenely ridiculous to complete. Half Life 2 Episode 2's Gnome achievement; pretty much you gotta drag a gnome statue from the beginning of the game to near the end... which is retarded. GTA4's Endangered Species achievement; this one i learned about today. pretty much u gotta find 200 pigeons and kill them all for that achievement... bloody silly. GTA4's Stunt jump achievement. U gotta find 50 bloody stunt ramps and complete the jumps. Just annoying. Also, ANY achievement for games on the HARDEST setting... like GOW's Insane and Legendary for Halo 3. |

Lol.... Play Forza Motorsport 2. Now, there are 2 for doing the 'hardest' difficulty stuff. Natural: Win a Race with ALL driving aids off. Hardcore: Natural + Hard Mode AI (now HERE's the hard one.... unless you know the trick) Hard Charger: Start last, finish first. (just this, no need for driving aids off even) --- HC is hard because to have the last start spot.... you gotta have the SLOWEST car. Even if your car has just a few PI (performance Index) points lower than the other lowest, you get your Driver Skill added to your PI. In other words, you gotta have EVEN slower of a car. Now for the trick: Use a stock Muscle Car (1969 Camaro SS for example). The muscle cars are way overpowered for straights, but since their tires are considered suckage, they are thrown down to D class usually (a few break into C class). Just drive a C class race with that D class car on a track with long straights, like New York, and you'll destroy the competition. Yay, easy/hard achievement done! Otherwise, this is near IMPOSSIBLE. |

Mass Effects Ally achievements; Namely it pretty much comes down to playing the game with 2 of your 6 'allies' for the majority of the game... aka play the whole damn thing with those two. And its 6 achievements So thats at LEAST 3 go throughs unless you ♥♥♥♥♥ the first time and kept switching (which i did). Best to have a rounded team, like good combat, alright biotic and a good tech. Like when i unlock Hardcore (again another annoying achievement) I'm either going to play as an Engineer (to get all the tech achievements + for the fun of it) and have a good biotic (Asari) and the Krogan for combat then when i play as an Adept on Insane (again.. ugh) i'll use the super tech Quarran and the senteniel biotic human in my line up (that'll be hard... since i'll lack combat, might put that into Hardcore... but not sure). Either way, all those achievements are annoying as heck, good thing the game is really enjoyable even on a second go through. Did i MENTION the achievements for scouring the galaxy for all kinds of random items, ya, thats another annoying one. |

Awwe, way to ruin the fun as always Kab. Only reason why i've gotten so interested in Mass Effect is because i ACUTALLY want to just play it a few more times with other classes totally different from the soldier or Vanguard (medium biotic/combat); aka the Adept (Ultra Biotic) and the Engineer (Super Tech). Cause Mass Effect has got to be the first RPG i've owned/ played where the classes are so distinct and the play style different (yes you'll use your 4 weapons alot, but i digress) that its really fun. I was only mentioning those achievements cause well, its the point of the thread. I doubt i'll bother with them. |

Yellow Skin!? Famous cartoon!? You got to be kidding me.... you give bad hints to the wrong person.... Uhm... gah, who the HELL has yellow skin!????? Oh wait.... The Simpsons? Meh... it does take a lot to actually hit the start button for that game.... being so mediocre. But yes, FM2 has some pretty easy hardest achievements.... and then the near IMPOSSIBLE ones. Or the totally impossible: Secret 4: 3 of them are just getting all the region specific cars, and the 4th is getting EVERY car in game in your garage. Excludes DLC cars thankfully. 1 million CR from Online races: This is impossible... I don't play online... U_U |

Achievements is a way to emulate interest in the game. You aren't playing for achieving something, you are playing to get a medal or a trophy. Nothing else. That purely requires persistence, not skill or even interest in the goal for that matter. I for one play games for fun, and if I want to achieve something special I will give it a shot with or without a reward on the table. |

Honestly I don't play for achievements... however I do love getting the weirdly easy ones that you just come across: NASCAR 08's Craftsman Tools one: Simply save a setup you made. 50 pts.... for saving a setup. |

You know what I realized? Whenever I make a post with something about seeing if others can figure out what I was talking about (such as in the taunts topic, no one ever guessed for who said that one line I used for a taunt). But when someone else does one of thems, I (or someone else besides them) would actually respond. Guess I am just plain suck. I'm off.
