I'm a newbie EDM (Electronic Dance Music) composer/producer/whateveryouwannacallit and I am scratching my head over one thing: what is the genre of music called when the drum beats go like really really fast? They start out and then progress-- whatever how about I give you an example?

I've attached a song (not made by me) which incorporates the drum beat I am referring to.
The drum beat plays throughout the whole song but is best heard around 2:13 when the breakbeat starts.

BTW this is a great song, even if you can't help download it anyway :)

What is the genre??? !grr

EDIT: sorry the zip file was too big !grr . just listen to the file in the second post, it provides a much better example.

This beat can also be heard in the Unreal Tournament 2004 song KR-Action1.ogg found in data/music.

Attached is the beat.

Different types of EDM are classified mostly by their BPM and I was hoping if someone would tell me what type of EDM has a high BPM. Oh well.

@Shadowblade: Yeah, I know, but if only I could figure out how to USE FLStudio. :D
