the big con is the copy protection EA used with Mass effect. I don't have the game yet, but, installations ARE limited TO 3. beyond 3, you MUST call EA and have them activate it for you. |

I couldn't agree more SX. more and more of the newer PC games are STILL using copy protection crap which is why I have avoided mass effect, spore, and the other games that use it. |

You are looking at the wrong suspect guys. Piracy is the reason copy protection exists in the first place. I see nothing wrong with developers/publishers protecting their products from being stolen. It does hurt the legal customers, but it is certainly better than no game industry existing at all. Bring out the torches and pitchforks and go up against the Pirates of the Digital Age. |

This is very similar to the question "Which came first; the hen or the egg?". Did copy protection come before the pirate or vice versa? I have no idea myself. |

@bjossi. if I am looking at the wrong suspect, I am sorry. I realize they don't want their product stolen, but, I was pointing out I avoid more and more of the newer PC games because of the copy protection. |

Ah but it is known(personally I think it would be the hen myself),for pirates vs copy protection,the very first person who pocketed a item gave birth to protection of any sort. |

I think it is only fair that we legal customers help the companies fight against the pirates, after all they made an entire game for us to enjoy for just a few dozen bucks per person. |
