Dunno about windowed mode, but for custom resolution: setres widthxheightxdepth |

I would guess the last one is bit depth, which is normally 16 in games as old as UT99. |

Thank you Bjossi, after you said 16 i figured 32 would work as well :] so no one knows how to enter windowed mode using the console? |

32 has been around since '95, though not common until after 2000 afaik. If 32 doesn't work, 16 is guaranteed to do so.

32 works with UT in OS X, OpenGL rendering and what not. now if only i could figure out windowed mode and get the Infiltration TC mod working... |

You might have better luck using windowed mode and custom resolutions with one of those improved API modules. UT99's OGL renderer has been improved by the community throughout the years. |

I would love to link it to you, I just have no idea where the updated OGL/DX renderers are located. A google search served me well back in the day, it should do the same for you. |

Yes, OpenGLDrv.dll is UT99's OGL renderer. |

Then you should be set for custom resolutions. Instead of doing this through UT's console you could just modify the values in the ini file where they reside. Turn off fullscreen, write the res numbers and you should be all set. |

dude i've tried that... It wont let me save the file correctly =/ When i edit and save the UT.ini this pops up "TextEdit does not save files in SimpleText format; document will be saved in rich text format with a new name." After i do that, UT doesnt recognize the UnrealTournament.ini any more and just creates a new one... |

I can't help you there, I can edit any text-based file just fine and save the changes. |
