UT3Jackhammer.WMV

I made this just for fun. I used only the impact hammer and got a kill every 8 seconds on average -- not too impressive, but still fun. I was using some custom skins, like Warhammer 40K, Cat, Hel, and some other I cant remember. I also used Gibalicious and relic madness mutators. Speaking of characters, Do certain custom chars have physics objects, such as Hel's loincloth and the Rabbits' ears? I notice they flop around, and the Cat's tail and hair would look so much more natural if it did that, too.

I have no clue why the sounds sux so much. I used the SPDIF on my integrated ALC 883 sound chip. I had to keep the recording level a hair above zero, otherwise I got blatant clipping and distortions. This crappy sound recording is present anywhere I record audio from SPDIF. I have no clue how others get such clean sound in screen capture videos... maybe they have better sound cards?

Gotta agree here:

The UT3 Impact Hammer is amazing.

Playing in DM-Morbias with 16 bots is insanely fun, too. you have approximately 2-4 seconds to live before you're killed by a lost rocket :D
me and my friend played it, we also used the Lowgrav mutator and the berserk.
holy shit, when the redeemer spawned in the middle of the arena 6 bots + me and my friend were running to get it. i was flying over it, but since it was lowgrav, i was too late to come down to land. my friend got the redeemer, and he shooted it. oh god.
what a carnage :D
strange, your video is not working here...

I could only dream of UT3 running that well for me.

Who knows,we are thinking about building a new PC however.

And in my eye, that looks ridiculously good, seriously, games don't need excessive graphics to be fun.

That is pretty much how my UT3 looks, but quite choppy.

Man, your notebook can handle UT3? Mine can barely handle UT04. I just have a piddly GeForce 7000M, which can use only 128 MB of shared memory. I have to crank the resolution down a bit to get over 30 fps.

My desktop, though, itsn't too bad, which is what ran the game. Also keep in mind that I was playing a HOLP2 map (Hardschool Old school Low Polygon), therefore, it's quite a bit easier on the computer than a normal UT3 map.

HOLP maps are also more fun than a normal UT3 map.

So, anyone haev any idea about the audio? Is that kinda quality normal for the SPDIF channel on low-end integrated audio chips? It sounds fine coming out my speakers when gaming and/or recording, but the recording itself sux.
