Dunno if this is the right place, but I got this thing : I want to clean up my map list in ut2004 by deleting all the mapfiles from where they are in the OS so to say, but if i go back to UT2004, they're still in the list, only without preview and unplayable. How to remove them from the maplist in Ut2004 as well? I did delete all the files accompanied by the maps (like textures, sounds, etc) If it's not easily killable I won't really mind reinstalling it, it's the best way to get rid of all the crap anyway ~_~ but ofc I rather have an easy solution. |

Delete the map files and then delete the appropriate ucl files from UT2004\System to get rid of the map list entries. For example DM-Floor500.ut2 would have a DM-Floor500.ucl, delete both and DM-Floor500 is gone completely from UT2. |

There should be some map related files in the system folder, that start with DM, CTF, ONS, etc. that you should delete if you haven't already, and I assume you got the files from the Map folder deleted already. Other than that, maybe there's an ini/config file in there that has the maplist? I'm not sure about this one, but if there is, you could open it up with word or notepad and delete the lines for the maps you don't have any more, or simply delete the whole file and it'd probably be created without the obsolete maps. Again though, I'm not 100% sure on that last part. |

The ucl files make up the maplists afaik. |
