Far Cry 2 ain't just some game with just some engine. it runs on "The Dunia Engine", a engine even better than Cry Engine 2. the Dunia Engine has the greatest potential of all engines that i know. and it is simply a waste of all that potential if there is no SDK available for it. |

FC2 is a ton of fun, but I don't care much for a modding SDK petition (my version is the 360.... my computer's too crappy to run even CoD4!). If only I had the computer to run the game... |

How can people be against modding? Saying that you don't care about modding it because you can't is sorta like saying the freedom of press is kinda worthless since you don't do that sort of stuff. I'm signing up for it! Though I can't say I know when or if I'd get the game. |

Bit annoying when it pops up and your bottle is empty after taking the last pill... My next weapon mission unlocks the AS50 sniper rifle!

So far I really enjoy FC2. However.... I don't like how I keep getting stuck with trying to find the sniper trying to kill me. I gotta say, the weapons you can get make for a VERY interesting loadout you'll want to get. If you think you'll be needing longer range, take along a sniper rifle. Most of the time if you don't need one, you cna steal a shotgun or AK or G3 from a downed baddie. In any case, take a Mac-10 when you get one (or Uzi if you have one.... I don't yet). It's up to you, but I prefer taking the RPK over the RPG-7 or Carl G RL. Always a good loadout! |

Guessing some people have no patience with getting to places? I will admit there are annoyances of having 5 guys with shotguns surrounding you can be... deadly. I seem to find more shotgunners than anything else... |

I got Far Cry 2 myself now and I really like the gameplay. It isn't anything like spawn then run and gun gameplay. It's a little bit more tactical. Before I come close to an outpost I always hop out of my buggy, blow up the cars with my RPG, pick off most of the enemies with my sniper rifle, and then rushing in with my buggy with a MAC-10 to mow em down to pieces. Appears very effective as mostly I don't loose any health. I always target explosive objects like barrels and tanks with my sniper rifle. Makes people fly =D |
