Resident Evil was the first thing that came into my mind when reading your post, right before you stated that it has similar gameplay to RE.

heres a nice zombie mod for ut2004, i just downloaded it and it is very professionally made. when your not playing co-op online there is campaign mode (which i dont quite follow...), you will probably never see any one online tho. play as four different characters who each have their own strengths and weakness, and fight off hoards of on coming zombies. - board up doors to hold off zombies - wack them with many melee weapons - throw your inventory items to distract enemies - very nice camera view which makes it look like your watching a movie - lots and lots of puzzles - become a zombie (online only...) - very good cinematic scenes - very VERY detailed art/characters - new start up intro after launching - resident evil like game play (similar not identical) - several options while playing - set traps to anger dumb zombies - download for your self if your interested........ http://www3.telus.net/poshih/TheAwakening/ *yes this is a third person game, yes i like fps's better but its a good mod so go jump in a lake. |

you ever play a game and theres a level where you have to die er something? well in the first level your trapped in a office and the zombies are about to brake down EVERY door and getcha, you can board up the doors but the zombies just brake through. after you lose all your health you end up at a hospital, there zombies SPAWN like fricking crazy! thats why the game is so hard (zombies come out of no where). |

yet this game is some what of an RE outbreak clone yet its kinda annoying when you reload first you have to select the ammo then click and hold wait for 5 secounds then its finshed then the zombies have mobbed and then your up a creek |
