Pretty awesome, just got it today and love it. The infantry characters look like they could be in team fortress2, the vehicles have all sorts of neat abilities, the structures are eqauly impressive in how they are built.

For an RTS the graphics are extremely well done, the sound is great, voices are amazing, the acting in the videos is funny, excentric and exactly how it should be for the red alert series. If you love Generals... you need to get RA3.

as you can see from my sig(<----NOT ANYMORE), im excited about RA3.
i love the style of the game, classic RA2 with all the wackyness of which i loved from RA2.
as a (nooby) soviet player, my fav unit has allways has been the apocalypse tank. also, the Hammer KICKS ASS! (weapon stealing lol ) but i also love the divercity of the factions. such as the Empires transforming units (Jet/Mecha Tengu FTW ) the allies dependnce of micro management (which is why i suck at playing them), and the fact that unit spamming is no longer the victory ticket like in CNC 3 with the hard counter system.

also, have you seen Shockwave for generals? the best looking mod out there (Alexander Player) . and also check out the RISE OF THE REDS mod coming out for Generals, the Russians and the Europian union will be added aswell as the new generals for the Old factions. USA (new air, a Tank and spec ops generals.)
the PLA (red army,speacal weapons and secret police general) and GLA (Bio com,Warlord and terror cell).

Thats gonna be cool. I just got lucky as it was supposed to be released on November11 but a local area bussiness made a mistake and release it early. Its a lot of fun.

The hammer is a very awesome tank. Feels almost over powered. Get a small group and have em leech beam... pretty unfair to the target. Pretty awesome though. Im sovier union all the way.

Oh. It's about RA3...

How is the gameplay, i get so finicky with RTS gameplay... Rise of Nations and Age of Empires 2 and CoH excellent gameplay, AoE3 alright gameplay.

I Personaly think that the gameplay is better then AoE2 also better then world in conflict. It also plays better then general. I Really like it so far. dont know about rise of nations.

Is it super super fast, or just a good pace?

How do the skirmish bot AI's hold up?

havent had a chance to test out the Skirmish bots yet. Im just playing with the factions to get a feel for em. But from what i can see they dont just attack from one point (unless you build a wall and funel them in to a field of tesla coils) they take air routes, land rounds, sea routes, and mix up their forces some too. So far I like it a lot.

The pace is good, not FAST but its not slow. Longest match I had with a bot was about... 45 mins to an hour. They do have their dumb moments but they also have smart moments too. The units seem slightly smarter as well.

Also there is a man-cannon. Its the soviet way of quickly transporting units to the battle field.

BTW does the game feels the same way as Tiberium Wars? I kind of didn't liked it...

I don't even want to try it. The idea of ships being able to drive on land doesn't attract me at all.

it feels better to me then tiberium wars, They really took the focus off resouce gathering though, now you just build your refinery next to a mine and a truck drvies back and forth. that let me down some.

But yes it does play better, feels like they put more effort into it.

i am debating about getting red alert 3 once I have some money.

also, for those who have red alert 3 and WANT to take off the install limit, the newest patch will allow u to do so.

Resource gathering is the part I hate most about these types of games. I came to lead armies, not farm for rocks.

I just got red alert 3 tonight and its really fun. Im trying to get a feel for the factions as well. I'll prolly stick with allies for right now!

I played Red Alert 3,i won with the Soviet unions...And all i can say is the biggest piece of sh*t that EA ever made.

The graphics look like a cheap version of C&C3.

The gameplay absofreakinglutly sucks,too damn unrealistic.

And this new faction,Rising Sun,can go to hell and find his own home.

is the new faction all right?

I'm personally more excited about the upcoming Company of Heroes expansion pack than Red Alert 3. But the prospect of war bears does seem pretty neat.

Ah.. C&C Red Alert 3, we've been meaning to get this.. Old red alert 2 was great..

I hope they havn't done an epic with it..
