What is your fav map on UT2004 and why? Mine is Tokara Forest, i absolutely love it, its just the setting and the whole feel of it, plus the music. Just awesome. |

I'm guessing you mean stock maps. CTF-Grassyknoll I love the way I can get some really good sniper kills on the enemy base by hiding in the forest... that and it's a pretty open map for play BW in! |

DM-Blackhawk ONS-Aleja Forest ONS-Arctic Battlefield CTF-Face 3 There's a zombie mod for UT2004? What is it called? This would make Invasion so much more entertaining! |

woah woah!!! Why teh hate? I never used it in standard Deathmatch but added to invasion it was at least several hundred times as good. The only zombie mod with good graphics and sounds and could be genuinly scary and huge amounts of tweakable options. I admit the first version was not great but the latest is brilliant, with its own invasion gametype! |

The version I played, the final release from late 2004, had practically no animations at all, nor could I hear much in terms of sounds other than zombies landing on a surface. And they damaged you at a fixed rate by a mere touch. If this is the best zombie mod for UT2, god have mercy on UT2's zombie warfare potential. |

well i play at x2.5 speed CTF-concentrate (not sure if i Dled it, maybe it came with BW, anyway its like a fast paced, small map), i play with 10 bots on each side, and sometimes when you just turn around (or spawn) and you see an ugly-ass zombie in your face just appear out of literally nowhere, its *kinda* scary. thats why i like the zombie thing. also, anyone happen to know any particularly sinister/scary looking maps? |

Followed closely by DM-Blackhawk online. Deck16 is fun... need to work on my sniper skills though.
You and the HSP guys destroy me with snipers.
Now for a battle with only the Flak Cannon... I wonder how that'll go. |

It depends on the gametype. I used to like CTF-Face a lot, but I lost my talent on Sniping. CTF-Rail is a nice map. I don't like much of the original Ut2004 maps, they don't make sense normally. I used to play in DM-Plunge a lot, however. Blackhawk is a good map. I like pueblin Canino, I dunno, I like it because it has lots of action... and you can go to the roof of some buildings to snipe there. In Invasion I have many favourites:UnrealVille(I can hide in the bathrooms when it is the Nalis wave), DM-Helmzdeep(it also has a "defense" room)... a lot of maps would go there, but those are always in the maplist. ONS I don't play much. When I play, I play at Stallinnigrad(I don't remember the name now), and others... again, I don't play onslaught a lot. In bombing run I liked ElecFields. |

You must have downloaded some crappy alpha veriosion of Zombies of Nightmare, then, Bjossi. The version I downloaded was just fine; the only glitch (?) was that the bots kept runnig around and shooting after the match ended for a few seconds before loading the next. |

Me? Not a clue; it was years ago. maybe filefront? As for my personal fav map, it would have to be CTF-PureAction2k4. This is a map I made that shamelessly ripped off the original CTF-PureAction for UT99. It is a room with an acid pit int he middle and a bridge going over it. If you live more than 10 seconds, you're doing great. |

Yeah, the final version was probably just an alpha.
I bet this is just a case of me setting much higher requirements before something can be considered a good quality mod. |

Bjossi... I dont know how we can possibly be talking about the same thing. ZoN was the only zombie mod with decent animations, overall graphics and sounds for 2k4. Are you sure your not talking about something else? This is the one with Evilengines models (very high quality) and one that in particular bears resemblance to the boomer from LfD. |

Zombies of nightmare is more of a quality mutator rather than a mod.It is the flexibility/compatibility that makes it popular. The zombies are not the most convincing specimens but work with just about anything. As for my favorite map... Curse. It is simply a great map with BW. |

If this is the best zombie mod for UT2, god have mercy on UT2's zombie warfare potential. You should try out the updated version,it has animations, better zombies and all of that sh*t. My fav map is CTF-Grassyknoll. 'Cause = Flamethrower + Grassyknoll = The best pyromaniac technique on the map. |

A link would be nice. Googling around for UT2 mods is rarely successful for me, plus I don't know what to look for (like a version number). A good zombie invasion would be a nice way to return to UT2 after a looooong break.
