Bloody ridiculous shit isn't it. Palestine is in the shit with Israel, India and everyone else in the Middle East.

If anything is going to go to hell, its either going to start with the Gaza strip i figure if Israel and Hamas don't stop or something with Iran and some Middle East Country or a reckless US General.

Any thoughts on the growing violence?

They keep blaming each other for whatever attacks occur; it is an endless chain reaction of "no u!"s.
And even if one of them stepped up and stopped the attacks of their side, both countries are full of people that got firepower but no brains.

This childish fight of theirs isn't going to end until mom or dad (US or Russia, for examples) step in with force, or Israel & Palestine blow each other up from existence, whichever comes first.

Israel was created after WW2, for 2 reasons: to move the jews that survived the holocaust, and to make a US/England/France allied in the arabic lands, since most of these were friendly to the Soviet union.
let's not forget that the Middle east is full of oil, so another reason to make an ally there.(and to me, US attack to iraq was to get oil).

Then Uglyogre is tracing the blame too far into the past I'd say. We don't blame Hitler's parents for what happened to Germany in the early 1900s, so why should we blame the allied nations for what is happening in Israel of today?

They have over the centuries fought off all these suicidal people all around them trying to take there little land, and all they are trying to do is hold onto there small contry.. And good for them.. Well they did drop (create) Israel in one of the most difficult and ancient places in the world and expect everyone to stay happy. Munich proved that this would just escalate the problems with Israel.

If WW3 comes, think it will happen IF USA can't control it's economy, and another country takes the position of superpower.

Th economical crises in the world leads to the creation of several totalitarian governments(i.e Nazists-like, Fascist-like) and these begin to challenge the superpower.

also on a more tactical note, there wont be direct wars between major countries anymore, they will be proxy wars, like hamas and israel is really israel and iran, just like vietnam was us and russia. in this type of world conflict, the closest we can come to a world war is serbia invading argentina, while brazil fights off somalia. each country will be supported by their "allies" of course.

This idea is actually not bad on paper. The best way to make troublemakers quiet is to show them who's the boss. A single nuke will not get rid of the middle East though, the land is way too big. It would be better to blow up a "warning" nuke first though, far away from populated areas but still within the warzone.

The very last thing we want is a nuclear World War 3. One nuke is enough to trigger that.

Millions of people could die if the nuked country decided to fight back with its own nukes. There is a completely valid reason why we've been avoiding the use of and attempting to destroy weapons of mass destruction over the past 50 years.

They are not a "Problem Fixer" in any way.

You don't need hundreds of nukes to destroy a country.

Besides, the very act of nuking any relatively defenseless country would be so counter to American ideals that even if nobody decided to retaliate with nuclear weapons, the public outcry from such an act would be enough to destroy the country. We'd tear ourselves apart.
