Have any of you got the new stuff VALVe released with the new Scout weapons? here are some thoughts. THE SANDMAN a pretty cool and fun little piece of weaponry. the sandman baseball bat hits a baseball into your opponents knocking them out cold. i thought i wouldn't really use this thing after taking away the double jumps but with the help of the force a nature i gotten pretty found of it. helps me get past those Heavy's gaurding the hallways, keep engies from repairing there toys, and Keeps those UBER's at bay. although the you can only hit one baseball before having to get another one once the timer fills, at least i can get the ball back when it rolls along the ground. it really bugs me that you cant use the right click to swing the bat. so when i'm melee'ing someone, i risk a ball. THE FORCE A NATURE at first i thought i wouldn't use it because its 2 shot clip but after playing with it, i found it to be more useful then the Scattershot. its high knockback, its half a second firing delay between shells, and lethality at point blank and its powerful kick that lets me double jump with the the sandman by firing at the ground. i now use both the force a nature and sandman as my weapons. (i once use its knockback to push somebody in front of a train in Well. Fun times. )
BONK! ATOMIC PUNCH now this is useful. those moments in 2-Fort where theirs a sentry in the corner or in the backyard with the stairway to the intel rooms, or those times where you got a Demoman, Heavy and pyro keeping guard at one area, one sip of Bonk and i'm all like Agent smith,dodging bullets n' shit. (que SPYBREAK! by propellerheads) the post Bonk slowdown can get annoying but i found a way overcome that.
most of the time im Lightyears away from the enemy once it wares off, cause there to slow or Keeping fort out back. BONK! Atomic Punch! Cherry Fission and Blutonium Berry! [size=7px] contains 80% times the regular sugar allowance, no natural ingredients, should not be taken by diabetics. [/size] what are your thoughts on the whole Scout update? |

Bah, I dislike all of them. I play as a heavy who punches people, and all of these upgrades prevent me from doing so! Sandman stuns me, the Force a Nature pushes me back, and the Bonk! makes them unpunchable.

Well its awesome when you use it on others, but not fun when used on you. i play what ever class that the situation demands, so im not a specialized class player. however i rarely play as the spy for the fact that i just plain fail when using him. |

It's kinda funny when the Spy transforms into you. You'll be running around and suddenly notice someone with your name over their head. Then you proceed to shoot at them!

They all seem a bit unfair... it will be swarms of noobs with the sandman hunting single players... Raziel P.S I own a copy of the game but have never played it XD |

If I recall, though, don't the extra guns have to be earned through achievements to be usable? And also, when I get around to playing TF2, Pyro all the way. Mmph Mmph Muh-hu! |

Goddamn Sandman is the worst thing ever. It might as well kill me instantly. It would save me the trouble of hoping that it wears off in time. A Heavy is now a complete joke against a stupid scout armed with that thing. What the Christ?! I could tolerate it if the stun effect didn't completely remove the player's control, and merely screwed up his vision a bit, or maybe screw up his controls some. At least you still have a fighting chance. |

The sandman is overpowered! end of. Stunning ubered people too? being bullet proof, but not ball proof? cmon!!! The new shotgun is wicked though. |
