So anyone have Dawn of War 2 installed ?
If yes maybe we will exchange GFWL usernames here so we can add eachother to friends and play sometime ?

Well its different from DoW in one way and same in the other. Some people claim it is better than its predecessor while other say the opposite. I think its as good as the first one was. Game is more fluffy than it was before. Space Marines are now in small quantity but strong, orks on the other hand are more weaker but in large quantities. Battles are pretty much the same scale if you play 3 vs 3 that is. There is one main building where you can spawn units from and there are also generators to build. The way of the game played is pretty much left the way it was, capture strategic points to get more resources but now the main game type is Victory Points instead of annihilation. |

I actually prefer the other RTS made by Relic, Company of Heroes. They both seem to have some similar things going on though. |

Man,I love DoW2 more than the older ones You can now get traits,level up your guys,use armor n guns and show everybody that you're one lone wolf kicking over 9000 cultists/orkz/aliens arses! (Do aliens have arses?) |

Do we still get the same advantages with the terrain, etc? Have to disappoint you but theres no Chaos faction ingame, probably in expansions ? Now we have Space Marines, Orkz, Eldar and Tyranids. About unit quantity/variety the numbers are more or less the same maybe little less but units have more abilities and overal usage; now you may actually use scouts in end game. Theres also an interesting aspect added, before each battle you select your commander unit which gives some ways to suite your play style. (something like doctrines) About the maps first of all we have little selection to start with (but relic stated that they will release map editor) and about terrain advantages i could say one thing if you played Company of Heroes and loved how it worked there you will probably love how it is made here. Note that this is all multiplayer info, what Strelet said is mostly related to singleplayer. Why did i pointed that out ? well mostly because in DoW2 singleplayer and multiplayer are completeley different games from gameplay perspective. |
