X-Fi's are only in the $150 range and fit into any PCI slot. ;)

This is a pretty big bump, but I haven't tested this much until today.

I played a match with no mutators, just basic CTF in Face3 with a few Average bots, 5 in each team. And this patch deserves attention from all audioholics that own a X-Fi, simple as that.

First of all, when you are far away and someone is shooting the lightning gun in the distance, you hear a sound that is just like a thunder you hear in real life. It was so unbelievably cool that my ears cried.

The AR got a much better sound effect too, and in the distance you also hear a cool effect that just can't be described.

Simply put; the ones that have X-Fi would regret not to try this out.

well my darn father won't let me upgrade my PC, says i have to wait and buy my own. :(
