I have enforced a limit on everyone's PM inbox and outbox to 20 messages each. Please can everyone clean out their PM's that are not needed....otherwise I will simply delete everyone's PM's! Thanks |

Gah, that's not going to be fun. You should have done like me and deleted obsolete messages on the fly, rather than letting them pile up. |

Do you plan to delete all users who registered, never posted and never logged in again? It seems reasonable to get rid of those who are unlikely to return. |

i think i only have 500 in my inbox and 500 or so in the out.. Is there no way to export them all from your end cyberax? I have alot dating back to when the site began.. It's good to keep records of this stuff i guess.. |

BTW, the limit for PM's in now set to 70 you can keep. If you are over this limit, you will not receive new PM's. If people really have a need for more, then let me know and I will review the limit. |

70 should be more than enough, any additional messages needed to be kept can be stored locally (on the member's hard drive that is). |

vBulletin allows exporting (and mass-exporting) private messages in txt, xml and html formats, at least if the admin enables it. If phpBB doesn't have anything similar then that is a big disadvantage for the members with hundreds of messages to clean up. |
