Title says it all, whats the one Monster that stopped you finishing a game? Mines the Carrier from Halo, creepy fat headed thing, or the Cacodemon from Doom |

Pretty much the big guys. Half-life has them wicked cool striders,but those damn things are freekish to fight because they take about 5 rockets and valve placed them well. The worst(and yet still coolest) experience I had with them was in one of the levels there was a building that had a room you could duck in for cover,it was well below those strider's heads. Then the damn thing crouched down and stuck it's head in the door. I was freekin out at that point! Then there was Half-life 1's [spoileralert!] Big baby end boss thing.I kept pummeling it with rockets until I ran out of ammo just to discover I had to blast those crystals,I returned to a previous save,then next came the part that kinda got me.I had to jump in the damn things Brain. [/spoiler] Finally,there was the old Unreal Titans,was a bitch fighting them due to the insta-gibbing rubber turds they would keep throwing. |

I never liked those Octabrains in Duke Nukem. Those things always scared the shit outta me. Games with invisible enemies, like F.E.A.R. and S.T.A.L.K.E.R., have some pretty creepy crawlies as well. |

I restate my opinion. Fish suck. Ragh-Ragh-RaghRaghRaghRagh-Raghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh + Glitchy animation. Seriously,they did not finish that creature,at least not on my copy. |

The Regenerators from Resident Evil 4 were absolutely terrifying before you got the infrared scope. Also the first Garrador and the fight with Verdugo. Intense stuff. |

Now I remember my most hated from being scary enemy in VGs... the spiders. I hate spider in real life, and when Resident Evil games make them half my height, that's just plain freaky and I'll attempt to just RUN back where I was before. Then I'll use a Rocket Launcher to kill each one if I have one. |

In a similar vein, while not scary, I really despise the spiders from System Shock 2. They have an alarming amount of health, are hard to hit, and they poison you. Now this wouldn't be too bad under normal conditions, but the poison doesn't seem to work quite right in System Shock 2, as it doesn't go away on its own. You have to use antidote hypos, typically two, to get rid of the poison that is persistantly draining life from you. And antidote hypos are not easy to come across. |

I'm not arachnophobic, nor have I any phobias. I just don't like those enemies from SShock 2 because they poison you using a broken poison system. |

The flying babies from Doom 3. They wasn't really scary but i didint like to fight against them. And the first time as i had to fight against the bloodsucker in STALKER. It appeared ♥♥♥♥♥ fast but died after 10 hits. I thought that its pretty too easy so i tuned the configs a little. Now that thing is really dangerous^^ |

Hmmm.. thats a tough one.. nothing ever stopped me.. maybe those lizard men from the Dungeon Siege 1 Expansion that where tough when your an archer.. There are lots of terrible monsters but i won't get into all of them.. So maybe also the Titans as said and maybe Big bosses from Baldurs Gate 1, 2 ,and both exspansions some of those things wehere really impossible even on easy but it was still fun(Child killer!!).. |

Do you know that fat pig on Manhunt? Piggsy? Man he scares the ♥♥♥♥♥ outta me. I think i have Chainsaphobia (Afraid of Chainsaws) I also hate those chainsaw wielders on Doom 3,freakass face,scary groan,etc,etc (PS. I have arachnophilia,so i love those huge enemy spiders) |

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Snorks. The snorks themselves didn't really scare me, just that they were human-like, and came out of freaking nowhere with their screams. (I once fired a grenade behind a pile of rubbish, and when I went there a snork hopped out, and i was like "wtf you nob") |

Flying Kamikazes from Duke Nukem i think they were called Shark Drones. Omg they had such a scary sound, and almost always apeared in dark areas. Every time a heard that noice a was running like Homer Simpson trying to get to the lighted area.

Those gigantic orange Highlander guys from Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. Didn't really stop me or scare me, just ticked me off. I was playing that Valley of the Kings level with my friend on split screen co-op (pc) and we went our seperate ways to get the golden jaguars or whatever. My friend walks out of his tower, starts running towards the middle area to place his jaguar and BOOM! It spawns out of nowhere. In a place where its not supposed to spawn. I take over his controls, leave with him 7 health and it dead, and leave myself with 20 health because of 50 chainsaw guys in my face.

I would say the sprinters in ravenholm...
