They sure exist.
maybe we will never contact they (or the opposite, they never contact us) but considering the number of stars in single galaxy, at least one star (besides ours) will have life.

One thing I always think are their composition, planet, etc. we always believe that only earth-like planets support life. but we never know if there's another type of lifeform which doesn't needs water.

I Imagine that aliens live in worlds completely different than ours. by the way, scientists already said that it can be possible that exoplanets have plants that are red, yellow, for example, since it needs to fit the star that the planet orbits.

If humanity is arrogant, and stupid enough to think that we are the only life forms in the galaxy, then we know why earth is so bad off..

There is a reason why humanity can not get into deep space so well, we lack the beneovolence.. I'm not saying all aliens are, but some surely must be.. All those parhaps sightings tell use that nothing bad has happen despite their being here..

And this is what i ment..

:mrgreen: = Aliens come.. :shock: = Humanity in Shock.. :o = Humanity suprised at their actions.. :amen: = aliens pass on some knoledge, we give them slaves.. MUAHHAHA.. :clapping: = Aliens make life better for humans.. All in theory of course :beg:

But really, Humanity actually knows nothing of other life,or the meaning of life, or the rest of existince.. So we just don't know.. but it's seams unneccesary to kill aliens, and how could we anyway, if they got here from wherever they came from, they would have superior technology.. Goodbye Humanity!! :P

AND NO.. I'm not a Conspirator.. I wouldn't want to waste my life.. :glare:

Chances of a peaceful alien entourage coming to Earth is very slight considering that they'd need a reason, ya know? Maybe if they were at war with some other aliens, then they'd need help, although Earth is kinda screwed in that right, we're at least 10 years from having space fighters that actually work correctly. And even then, they'd be hellaciously slow on maneuverability.

Chances of a warring race coming to Earth is much more probable... and we'd probably end up being screwed due to some shield tech and us not having anything able to really combat them besides like that sonic speaker weapon... >_>

Thing is, the chances for a warring race to become powerful interestellar empires is also slight, since if you like warfare they will probably have civil wars regularly on their own planet.

If aliens come down to Earth, they will probably be Neutral... like us.
Yeah, we aren't good or evil. we are evil because nature uses competition as the best way to get things. here, when one wins another loses, just like how a lion eats an elephant.

on the other side, we are good too. there's many people that do good actions, and they normally aren't on the Newspaper because people don't care about it.
The only reasons to communicate with Earth are:

War. Maybe they want to conquer the planet.
Exchange technologies. Who knows if we know a unique technology?
Trade. Maybe not for Money, but exchanges. like a Xbox360 and a random alien console(yep, silly example :P )
Help us. If they're good aliens, who knows if they want to help us?

Oh yeah, if they plan to attack us we are screwed. we only have Ballistic weapons( hopefully they are Skrith :P ) , and our defenses are designed for ballistics, not for lasers, plasma or energy.

Also, if they attack Earth they must have solid reason to do so. wasting their time to develop weapons, space carriers, training soldiers( and if their society uses money like us, they are going to spend a LOT to attack us.

They won't attack us because they don't liked us, or they like to blow stuff.
IF they attack, it is because they either want to dominate our planet (Terraform it, or in a technical term Xenoform it) or want to use us as slaves.

but the challenge to kill 6 billion + humans will be a problem, and logistics to transport soldiers here would be complex.
If they simply want to Blow Earth with a Mega-Laser, they are retarded and one can't even call them a Intelligent specie.

Also, if they live in a radically different planet, they must transform our planet so they can live here. they also must remove any debris from the buildings, and you can't even consider human survivors in secret bases or stuff like that.

Another thing that makes Alien interaction difficult is their language... or lack of it :P

Maybe they speak by vibrations on the air, or Bioluminescence. (omg giant sapient Fireflies! )

How the hell you will communicate with these guys? Using a ventilator? Shutting lights on and off?

Add this to the HUGE space between our planet and their planet... it will require light-traveling communication systems! and if they are the Air-vibrating aliens, how will you do that?

Ah if they invented the Universal Translator like in Unreal 1...

But honestly, I'm not even sure if Aliens will use Lasers and Plasma, etc... maybe they use unknown weapons and materials. You know, we humans already know lasers and plasma, they're on every sci-fi movie... so I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 100 years we will use Lasers.

Aliens use things created from chemical elements of THEIR planet. who knows what strange elements their planet has? I'm sure they could be surprised by the power of the Nuclear bomb.

We humans aren't actually that dumb. We're idiots in using these weapons against ourselves, instead of maintaining them until we find dangerous aliens... but it's our nature. Everyone has different points of view and people will always attempt to force people to see his way.

Yeah, here on Earth, In order to live something needs to die.

What about mutualism? Yes, animals join sometimes to increase their survival chances. but if one survives, there is one that will die from famine.
Money Is just like this, In order to gain, one loses. and if two join, one will also lose.
If I buy a Coca-Cola, I might end up not helping other industries.
If two industries join, competition will be uneven , 2 vs 1.
There are exceptions though.

but also if they landed on earth they would probably die cause of air i mean air could be like gasolene to them

Oooh, thats what vivisection means. I always wondered what they meant when they were talking about performing a vivisection on the monkeys in System Shock 2. Had a pretty good idea it involved cutting things open, just wasn't sure past that. :p
