Does anyone know if it is possible to make a "clan" for UT2004? If so, should we make one for BW? Thx |

I would just say, to make a clan, we change our names from our names and add BW or BWC at the start. Like mines Caboose, i think. I could be BW-Caboose or BWC-Caboose ad maybe a Clan server. |

I'd suggest something more often seen, like [ClanTag]PlayerName. So for me it'd be like [BWC]OCAdam. Oh, anyone play Combat Arms? |

[BWC]tom10320. Got a nice ring to it, hasn't it? As far as making a clan goes, I feel that since so many people here are from different parts of the world, almost none of us would be playing at the same time. It would be a bit of a split clan. That said, I have been online here at the same time as many other people, usually OCAdam. |

Ok, I always wondered. I wanted to have my *DEAD* clan be part of the ut2004 world as well. Oh, how do you add a clan tag? {BW}*DEAD*BurnerMeen P.S. I'm not trying to steal from anyone's clan but, plz join *DEAD*, I need more people to help enforce the rules. (we are kinda like the un-official server admin) |

I'm in Central USA (soon Mountain USA though) time, so that might help a lot with that. And how I've got a constant tab open to BWC during the day, but that's just me with how I've got stuff setup with my browser and such! -- In most games, you just change your username to reflect what clan you are a part of. But with some games, like Combat Arms, they actually have a clan thingy that you'd be able to join and such. |

Call of Duty games have a clan tag feature unlocked by reaching a certain level. Sucks. With UT you just put it in your name. It's so much easier. Plus you can have more than 4 characters in it. Presently I am part of the STA clan, from the south east over here in England, BST. The Motherland wrote: This is where time begins-there is no better place. This is England.

[BWC]HerrGeneral is okay I guess. I wouldn't mind being in a clan. But my time zone is EST. |

The only other Unreal clan I ever really knew about was DW clan. They held huge matches with all custom maps and vehicles tailored to the clan's taste and style. It would be cool if we could do the same here but as it stands I think more people spend more time modding the game than playing it. There's also the issue of a server. Almost evey single server running BW I have ever played on has all the realism settings turned down ridiculously low. Perhaps we could use one of the new servers I have seen set up? I understand geodripp has one with decent settings. |

Well I'd love to make a setup of a BW clan running with the mod turned to something of a more playable version. As Araz had said before, quite a few of the weapons are either useless or extremely overpowered. As it stands right now in what progress I have, the XK2 is kinda weak, but I haven't been able to dual-weild it yet, so it's just that its role is not as easily defined quite yet. |

Playable for me is 1.5x recoil with all the tweaks like long-gun shifting turned on. Playable for other people is 0.2748x recoil with no reloading and annoyingly bright actors. There'll always be some guy complaining about the setup, no matter how even you try to make it. |

Most of the changes I'm doing is based on balancing towards BW with no chaos. Recoil's there, but it's also been modified to decline faster. I think most of the control problems with BW tended to come from chaos. Just to note, RS's UT3 project, Crucible Weapons, has no chaos, only recoil. |

{ABA} server has most, if not all, realistic settings on. Should we set up some clan rules? The only thing I say is we allow multiple clans in our members, cause I want to be in my own clan ( ) and this one that we are making.

Firs why don't we actually get some more prominent members around here to agree on joining? |

OCAdam wrote: Firs why don't we actually get some more prominent members around here to agree on joining? Such as yourself? Would 'the guys' agree to join? I thought this briefly but then judging by the weird little popups that appear when playing crucible weapons I think that their 1300 hours of creation time might detract from their ability to play UT. We need leaders for the clan, and I think they should be the mods here. Can I have some kudos? |

Beh, I don't like to think of myself as prominent, just always here. But as for getting SB and DC, I am seriously doubtful. They's be busy! |
