Hey all, I've been to the site before. As for who I am, I was an old member here a long time ago, and a big fan of BW back when it was in development. I've taken up Halo Custom Edition modding, and am looking to eventually move over to Unreal and learn how to make custom weapons and that kind of stuff.

All that aside, I'm liking the new look of the site. However I've noticed there seems to be no download or gallery section on the front page at the moment. Will this be looked into?

Anyway, good to see you guys are still active after all these years.

It also lacks a ballistic wiki link.

They'll probably get things sorted out soon.

Maybe we should grab the chance and create a complete BW 2.1 + JW 1.1 package now that we have a fresh start. . .

An even better move is to clean up the mod(s) before doing this, after all the Runestorm guys changed their file/class/package naming scheme many times over the course of development, plus new content wasn't always put into the same packages, resulting in many files for the same purpose (eg. BallisticSounds2.uax, BallisticSounds3.uax, etc.). Basically speaking, BW in its current state is a nasty mess, BW2.1 even needs BallisticV2.u despite V21 having all the code from that file and more.

A properly cleaned up and optimized BW + JW release like that would be a dream come true for less advanced users, and perfectionists like myself. :P Not to mention it will likely reduce file size of the complete package noticeably.

And it will help when putting BW in the server packages, and making easier to know the class names of the guns. ;)

Yeah, we're still busy adding stuff...
I hope to do most of the downloads today....

We will be adding a gallery and a "knowledge base" to replace the wiki....but the wiki is still there at the moment...
