P.S or... does anyone know how to convert a .des file into a UT2004 compatible file?

What's a .des file?

And don't bother with Wings. Its a decent program, but very limited in what you can do with it. I would shoot for Blender, very flexible, very powerful, very free. Lot of support and help available for it too!

Plus you can port your work from Blender to just about anything; lots of games, lots of other modeling programs. Its just a great program.

But I warn you, don't let the interface overwhelm and discourage you when you first see it, read some tutorials and figure it out, very nice when you get accustomed to it.

ALso, it might not apply to you, since I don't know if you are used to any other program controls, but I have to adjust several option in Blender before I can easily use it, like making the camera rotate vie turntable instead of trackball, or making it go to auto perspective, or changing the select button from right mouse button to left mouse button. You can do all this by dragging the top menu bar downwards to reveal the options hiding up there.

so on so forth

I turned down the hardware acceleration (as recommended on another site) but now there is no error logs whatsoever...

as for a .des file, it is effectively a 3D vector used by Prodesktop...

P.S Thanks Xav!
