Hey, do you guy have a group of Facebook or Myspace? I guess that sounds a little odd. But maybe you can get more people who play UT2004 and/or UT3 to join this site or take a look at the mods you guys make. |

Its best that RS' products be promoted by reputation and word of mouth. If they expanded outside of this forum (which is awesome on its own anyway), people might think that they are trying too hard - and that would have the opposite effect. Another disadvantage is that if RS set up a facebook group or something- since anyone can enter those groups - there can be a lot of unnecessary input. If they would want to, I would suggest opening up a profile on Linkedn under the work specialization of program development/modification. It would be a little more professional and get them even more noticed in the gaming development world (because you upload your CV and get recommendations from old jobs, etc), but there would be hardly any of the interaction on this website - since it would all have to be work related. Plus higher professionals would be watching you carefully - especially in a job market like now where its not just the qualifications that matter. |
