most people that make the mods either haven't played UT99 or they thought those weapons would to hard to bring to later Unreal tournaments or they just think that the weapons in UT99 suck. |

I've 2 mods for the Ripper. Those to mods are Ripper2k4 and Ripjack. And thanks to boredom I looked for Enforcer mods... there is 1 for the Enforcer. |

If you do get it get the GOTY edition it's got the proxy mine launcher and the only official RPB(Rocket Propelled Bullet) sniper rifle. *EDIT* And it has the only sword in the Unreal series The Bastard Sword. With the sword it is the only Unreal game with three melee weapons (the sword, the impact hammer and the chain saw.)

Those are from the original ChaosUT mod, which was included with the UT99 install. Anyway, happy birthday UT! That was an amazingly fun game. I'm still sad I lost it a couple computer crashes ago. |

I loved the proxy mines, My fav. weapon was the vortex, I use to throw it out & if no hiding place was close, grapple something. |

I know that.... But in UT3 they brought back the Impact Hammer when they should have brought back the Chainsaw That was the best melee weapon ever.

there is a mod with a chainsaw for UT2004. It looks like they just switched the game... When I play with BW i have to add the chainsaw. One other weapon that should have stayed the same is the Pulse Gun. It was much better than the Link Gun. |

yeah I got it like the enforcer and some UT99 unfinished conversions I had enormous hopes with that UT revolution but it was never finished I loved that pulse gun mostly in the design I liked that venom gun aspect + the digital numbers on the side that displays the remaining ammo |

I completely agree. The UT99 Pulse Gun was amazing. All of the UT99 guns were amazing compared to the UT2004 ones. |

The Ripper and Rocket Launcher were my favourites. The ut24k rocket launcher just seems weak by comparison. The Pulse Gun was pretty cool as well, it had a higher fire rate compared to the link gun. |

I think it reflects on how good UT99 was that no other UT since was a GOTY. |
