HOLY CRAP that game is long! Im still waiting for the twist to happen (just like the first one that almost made me crap myself)

Here I am thinking Im almost at the end and then something happens that pretty much shows the game is gonna last for another 2-4 hours! The graphics are stunning, got them full blast on my computer and not one little loss in frame rate.

If you Havent play the first one, beat it then go out and buy the second one. One of the best videogame stories... since....Half-life.

Its fun being a Big Daddy!

I am loving this game. Definitely one of the best singleplayer ones I've played in a very long time. Using a gene-tonic improved drill with fully upgraded ice and electrical plasmids is a blast. :P

It didn't seem as long as the first one though.

It's much better than Bioshock 1.

And to those reviewers sayign "The story's not as memorable." Pull your head out of your asses. I love the guns, story, multiplayer (to a degree.) and Eleanor Lamb. ^^

its hard to compare the stories of the two main characters (you as the guy in the first one, and you as Delta in the second one) So I think so far im digging the first games story a little more, but i absolutely love the second games story and its characters. Yes I also really like Eleanor as well :romance-hearteyes:

it was quite a ride.
for some reason, it didn't feel as long the first one and im also disappointed of the lack of U-Invent stations.
still, it's always fun to sic bees on splicers and drill a new orifice with the big daddy drill. however, the fully upgraded shotgun is the best. ( this should be a plasmid attack for the drill )

I will not buy this until there is a patch that removes the malware from it.

I do not own any console.

The game does look intriguing though, seems to handle the shooter part much better than Bioshock did.

the shooter part was pretty much messed up on the first bioshock IMO, I don't know how it's on the second game, but the only fun I had in the first is using some plasmids, and the environmental effects

They do play some what differently. Bioshock2 you dual wield your plasmid and gun (or drill), you move slower then the first because your a big daddy but you can also take quite a bit of punishment. Went through the entire game without dieing once (on medium, same as the first). Also you dont really focus on range based combat besides your plasmids, they give you enough ammo to fight a few enemies but you usualy end up finding alternative ways of killing them. In the first one you move faster, your weaker, you didnt dual wield, and the focus was always guns.

Also now you get to go outside and do stuff in the water such as collect slugs and observe the pretty waterscape. The new splicer types add a bit more of a challenge and the new big daddy (i think its called rumbler, then theres the one that you are an Alpha series) and the big sisters which to me didnt make enough of an appearance, i thought they could of been used more, it was neat seeing them outside and knowing they were following you and watching you. It really feels more like your playing through a movie... a really really good movie.

The ending... awesome.

Bioshock 2 Multiplayer rocks, look-a-like-o'-me Jacob Norris and that fat cat Buck Raleigh are the best.

I toyed with the multiplayer a bit, seems good, now if only i had a connection that could handle it.

Now I can forget about this goddamn overused and crappy Counter Strike Source! Bioshock 2 multiplayer FOR EVER!

I like CS source. Counter Terrorists all the way!

Beat the game again, this time i spared everyone, dealt with all the little sisters, got all plasmid and tonic slots, got most of the diaries, most of the weapon upgrades, and got a few secret achievements as well so yay me. :banana-dance:

I don't think there are enough weapon upgrade spots to get all the guns. I had to sacrifice a couple guns in order to fully upgrade my machinegun and drill. :(

Sounds like a good game, what with there not being enough games with decent stories, Darn!..

There are pretty much 14 of 'em, which would make in total all the weapon upgrades with the suffer of their special upgrades.

if there is one gun that needs to be upgraded, its the rivet gun. It starts out decent with decent damage, good rate of fire, and an ok sized magazine. But it becomes a powerhouse when its upgraded. The minigun aint bad, all it needs is the reinforced barrels and accuracy upgrade, the shot gun needs the capacity upgrade, the drill needs the fuel efficiency upgrade. Other then that though, I dont use the other guns very often.

Actually, it depends. If you like to headshot or one-hit-kill, get the SpearGun and the Damage Upgrade. If you're those shotgun maniacs (like me), what else? FULLY UPGRADE IT! Even the Tesla! Nikola Tesla rocks, and so does his Tesla. The Drill is good if you're those who love melee or/and to rush with it. The Machinegun needs to be used often IF you're an adopter and go adam-collecting. Its great with anti-personnel and can kill lots of splicers when the little girl is harvestin' adam while you defend her.

The cannon hardly needs upgrade. Its already too useful.
