Oh. And why is the Crucible not in the grand finals? I liked Planetstorm but it's better than Prometheus or those Germans that made that generic zombie mod. I don't understand how this isn't being recognised. BU sees you guys as some of the best, and you even appear in google suggestions. After ten months here I've come to the conclusion that Runestorm are the only mod developers with realistic targets which are made more impressive by the fact that there are three people behind it. Anyway, let's not dwell on this. Congratulations on everything you've won and good luck with the next contest, be it MSU 2011 or anything. |

Yes bit of a bummer that one, would have thought the judges had more foresight. However this doesn't change our plans at all, and we will still be working on something... You'll all hear as we creat more things, but we will keep you all in the loop as to what is going on, MUHAHAHA.. ![]() RS is heading in a much better direction, where we can produce top quality games sooner and at the same time enjoy making them.. So keep a look out as we announce our progress.. |

Hey hey! ( Sorry this is late and sorry I'm not around much, the reasons will become apparent in time... ) Unfortunate we didn't get a place in the finals and phase 4 was a bit thin, but thats how this stuff goes. Thats not going to stop us. On the upside, the competition has been greatly beneficial. We have proven that RS can produce top quality content and compete with the best in the world despite our lack of privileges! We are now free from the MSUC, so we can operate a little more freely now! I anticipate big things this year and new challenges as we move on to the next level in our mission to development games. We will be developing with the aim of selling our games commercially. Development is already underway on this plan. If all goes according to plan you won't have to wait too long to see releases! The idea is to concentrate more action into smaller games that can be completed and sold rather than working on a huge game that takes a very long time to make. This way we build up towards bigger projects. And when I say 'smaller' games, I don't mean small on fun, action or RSness, I mean small on development time. We can concentrate more on cool features that make a game fun and replayable and worry less about the heavy grunt work demanded by a typical FPS. You can expect to see much more from RS! |
