I thought we could ge o know each other beter b knowing which game ending everyone likd M favourite was definately Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 A brilliant ending with the knife general sheperd deseved it for what he did to Roach and ghost :evil: :violence-minigun: :violence-rapidfire:

P.s i want to make this thread also about movie endings so any movie ending also

myne has to go to to Sunshine its music is spectacular and its not like other movies where they come home and its allright everythings back to normal no. with sunshine the movie sas the dont plan on coming home then either finish the misson or dont either way they die i loved the bit with icarus 1 and the distress signal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b5ueiALdB0

It has been a long time since I saw a memorable ending. STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl's real ending gets my vote, not the ending itself but the gameplay leading to it.
As for actual ending, this is a tough one, Unreal 2's I felt was very unusual and memorable.

i swear when i played unreal 2 and completed it i had a tear in my eye very nice and memorable game indeed my second best has to go to mass effect 2 but its quite tricky really ill have to say not the ending cutscene but the enemy boss is a damn good challenge

The Halo seres Is the only game that I ever wanted to beet
Because my son and I always played them together
I don't have a lot in common with my oldest son so I did anything to hang out with him
and with spartan 117 gone well that just sucked
He's 24 now

Halo's endings were pretty good. Except for Halo 2. But then again, it did piss off a LOT of people (me included).

I see movie endings are there too. So... the best movie ending I ever seen was the Punisher, where The punisher ties Howard Saint to the back of a car, he then is wheeled through a storm of explosions, and he burns to death (or dies from blood loss) and we see the punisher skull from a bird's eye view. Symbolism!

Worst video game ending (besides Halo 2) has to be Infamous, just because it's went "4th and Bananas." I won't spoil it, but it's just as bad as Bayonetta's story.

Loved the Halo Legends movie(s), except the art and animation sucked for most of them (not too big of a surprise given the fact that they're Japanese...), and The Duel was just plain terrible. Couldn't watch it all the way through. After that one guy referred to the Elite as Arbiter BEFORE he even became The Arbiter, I skipped to the next one... And seriously... whats with all the Japanese architecture and designs...? Granted, it is a Japanese cartoon, but seriously, stretch the imagination a little bit! We're talking about an alien race that never even heard of Japan!

It held no consistency with the games. I honestly don't think the creators of that one even played any of the SP campaigns.

Bah. Sorry about that.

As for endings?
Hmm...

Loved the ending for System Shock 2. You never heard your character speak the entire game, and when SHODAN asked for mercy or something (forgot what it was) the player simply replies with his one and only line: "Nah." Then he shoots SHODAN. With a pistol that, oddly enough, I didn't have any more. :P

Loved the Legendary ending for Halo 3, and Fallout 3's ending is awesome (at least with Broken Steel), played a good guy through, but when it came time to enter the code for the purifier, I had Fawkes do it. It was the only logical decision. Super mutants aren't hurt by radiation in the least bit. He wouldn't suffer or be harmed in any way, no one else would needlessly die, its all good.

And that final march to Jefferson Memorial...? FREAKING EPIC.

WOW my thread is popular i loved the ending of avatar, the animation Is SUPERB!!
As for Games Well Borderlands has a good ending the devastator i think its called, was a big challenge And if anyone has the new Dlc the Secret armory Of general knoxx The Monster Crawmerax Is IMPOSSIBLE and I MEAN IMPOSSIBLE to kill since it is 4 levels higher than you

It's 3 levels ahead of you, since the max level is 61. He's 64.

And Crawmerax is not impossible, just difficult as hell.

My favorite part of that ending is SHODAN's laugh at the end.
I'm still waiting for SS3, but I don't want it to be made nor published by EA, who currently hold the rights to the IP.

Not really at the end, but at the Final Battle of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan. (The Entire Milky Way Galaxy and other Galaxies become Stepping stones)
and it's Probably the Best anime i ever seen, and i'm generally picky when it comes to Anime. it's like Gundam and Transformers made a child that's on crack.
