Just an FYI , I can't help but drool over it , Blizzard definatley knows how to make games. I envy those who played the beta :cry: . I just can't wait till I can nuke, swarm and whatever the protoss does on the new battle net :mrgreen:

Too bad they changed the Goliaths to Vikings. But Oh well! atleast they still appear on campaign.

I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Still, i hope it's as good or better than the old one, and they havn't screwed it up, otherwise it might not be worth it..

I honestly can't wait :drool: , hopefully I won't encounter any Korean players :angry-banghead: that would be bad most korean players of SC will tear people to shreds

Why? that I cant wait? or why that i do not wish to encounter any Korean players because I just answered that , I can't wait for SC2 because I've been waiting for this for quite some time and the editor they have looks quite superb to the original.

Why don't you want to encounter any Korean players?

I have nothing against them , its how the majority of them play. Koreans from SC are highly competitive and they are really good at what they do. I play games often but I usually refer myself as a casual, and casuals.... aren't the competitive type.

That's strange honestly, I do believe Koreans are really good at strategy games, or just at StarCraft.

But they're the worst at other games, like CSS. I owned a server, and I got lots of Koreans on it. A lot of them are idiotic hackers and rule breakers, trust me, even if I put the rules translated to Korean, they still do it. Had to ban EVERY Korean subnet out there.

Not too sure about SC2, still deciding.

Dota/HoN made me stop playing vanilla warcraft and starcraft a long time ago. I just don't enjoy base building, ,micro managing, resource management, rushing, limited ways to play type gameplay anymore.

Think I'll just stick to HoN, awesome down to earth devs, the best multiplayer platform ever, very promising upcoming map editor/sdk.
That and every match is different, SC2 is just gonna get stale fast.

I've been waiting for this since it was announced back in 2007, it's been a long wait. The first time I ever got to play SC was back in the '99 in some tech service office; I'd slip like a ninja and wait for them to close 'till the coast was clear (back then I was the boss' nephew so they'd let me in just to wander around) so I'd turn one of them comps on (usually the fastest) and get to play.
OT: Unfortunately back in those years (I was like 9) I had this very childish attitude to cheat every time I was about to lose. I also wanted to get to play duke nukem 3d but it was installed in another PC which was unfortunately passworded in DOS, the pass prompt appeared right after you turned the comp on.

I was very disappointed with it, really. I won't give anything away, but I got to play on the beta, and I will say, Blizzard knows how to make some damn fine cut scenes. Look back at WC2 even, they were good (at the time) back then.

Also, in a game like CS, how can you have rules? No FF? Turn it off. No camping? It's a valid strategy, (we call it sniping these days), if you get camped, learn the first time. Yeah, it's annoying/frustrating, but that's why you get grenades. :P

Y'gotta outsmart the other guy, after all. Walk around a corner three times, get blown in half three times, maybe the fourth, you won't walk around that corner again.
