FRAPS is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. |

It would be a new one to me if a game (engine) had the option to record demos directly to video files. Fraps is not free but if your videos are shorter than 30 seconds then Fraps would do. . . |

The one i'm currently using is WeGame. you will need to make and account an register one (It's free). WeGame lets you bind hotkeys for record,cut and snapshot and it has pretty good recording quality. (Though i mostly use Source Recorder for Source games.) |
