Heyas everyone! Its your neighbourhood beta here in desperate need of help!

I've wanted to play metal fatigue for a while now, so i finally got around to installing it! i've playing around all the compatability settings and th game does work!

kinda.

The toolbar is glitched to hell and it makes the game unplayable, check this page out: http://forums.techguy.org/games/848068- ... ssues.html

Its that exact problem, i've tried installing glidewrapper but it hasn't done anything! any suggestions? PLEASE? :violin:

If the almighty Compatibility Mode failed then all i can suggest is to reinstall your directx drivers and locate your open al or gl (dosnt matter which), and copy it to our install directory. Then set your compatibility mode to windows xp service pack 3, try it and tell me if it works ;D

How old is it?

Compatibility has never worked for me.. ever..

If it's Dos old, then DOSBox?

The problem is for old windows games, for DOS the dosbox is handy, but yeah there is means like using a computer emulator, making a virtual hard drive, installing an old windows on it (win 95 - 98) and install your game
BTW there is free emulators, in case you don't know like Bochs.

It works, but you need some extra Hard drive space and a windows copy and a good computer

You really should refrain from providing technical help when you don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about.

A tactic that can sometimes work in cases of renderer-related errors is to find a legacy build of a OGL or D3D renderer dll and put it into the same folder as the executable of the game. The game will (attempt to) access the legacy file rather than the one in your Windows folder provided by the video driver. Many ATi users have to do this for old OGL games (like Quake, Quake 2, Hexen 2, etc.) because their recent driver releases completely screw up legacy OGL.
