Now before i say a Single thing PLEASE dont take offense.

okay, where to start

people say that lucky numbers are random ad that its a special number that gives you good luck well guys my lucky number is 9/11

i dont know why but i see it all the time on the clock and the date today is 19/11/2010

and i've had a VERY good day, gooder than usual.

im not mocking 9/11 in anyway but i want to find out, WHY it gives me good luck.

The freakiest moment i encountered was whe i was playing call of duty modern warfare i completed it exactly at 9:11!

i thought i'd share this with the community and please dont take offense

i find the horrors of 9/11 as Horrible as anyone else .

Dude, how can 9/11 be your lucky NUMBER? surely it would either be 9 or 11? and if you've got 2 then your just craving luck!

And surely if its good luck then your not haunted, your blessed?

Yeah, it is.

Grizzly, everyone has those noticeable numbers. Once you tag it as special it'll seemingly start to appear everywhere. It's not haunted or anything, it's just your brain noticing the number better because you subconsciously think it is more important.

Also, my special number is 7 bazillion.

You're not haunted, you are just noticing the number because it is more prominent in your thoughts than 12/36 or 17/42.
Today is 19... how lucky were you on the 9th?

I'll make 0 my lucky number... Its all lonely and rejected. :(

Our mind is very powerful. It can make us believe we feel a difference when we actually don't, smell something that isn't there, etc.
The mind is the source of all superstition.

People can make/lose money from this even. The audiophools are a good example, for them anything affects audio quality from whether there is paper under flower vases to whether the toilet seat is open or closed. They spend thousands of dollars to satisfy their wild imagination.

The human brain and mind is a fascinating thing, well in those who have one.... :)

The subconscious mind is the more powerful one, and causes things like this because you keep noticing the number... ;)

I have this thing for the nr 7 and the mulitples of thereoff.

for instance 7, 49, 343, 2401, 16807
Those numbers I recognize isntantly, also when I see the number 42, I think 7 * 6

I always have to divide by 7 when I see those numbers...

I always confuse 7 with 3 and visa versa, don't know why... :D

I can also remember the 7x table more prominently than others. Probably because it took more concentration to learn.
