Post subject:  I noticed a strange tendency
Well, a lot of times when i post topics to forums or even just replies, the thread start to get less responses, and for a thread my last reply gets the last reply for some time. : P

Why could that be? Maybe my posts are so hard to understand, that when they try it it takes a lot of energy away from them, then failing it they lose the mood to reply to that thread? Or maybe my replies are so utterly booring that they lose the interest in the topic all together?

It's happaning to me for quite some time now, so please, I need some help to understand this.

That is a feeling that has been going around the entire forum, actually. I've been getting responses from many people regarding this. It's simply because the forum is not as active as it once was, and it has nothing to do with the quality of a post or poster.

There's no real way around it. Perhaps stick to high traffic threads, or find a way motivate people to post more.

And yeah, unfortunately sometimes we post threads that nobody responds to, but still it's mainly because of low activity. What is kind of funny is that I almost deleted your aging thread because that was similar to topics the spam bots would make. It wasn't until I saw it wasn't advertising "life forever cream" that I checked who it was actually by. :P

Try putting pictures in your threads and typing with proper capitalization and punctuation. That usually helps catch people's attention and motivate them to post.

I do post, but I prefer to keep it positive. Got lots going on outside of RS at the moment-personal development, career development, etc. :)

Financial derivatives are the weirdest thing. The great thing is that they are just one part of finance, the horrible thing is...they are still part of finance. >:D
