I've already updated my drivers. Why does it crash all the time? |

Try disabling Relics. It looks like you have some on / running. |

I didn't see that. Okay, I'll try. But too bad, I like those relics... |

Yeah, you're right. It didn't crash this time. Too bad, I liked the relics |

A friendly reminder: error messages often explain or hint at where the problem lies. In this case you see mentions of Relic related functions/calls near the dead end. You could try test Relics with different mutator setups, the problem may be an interference rather than a strictly Relics-related bug. |

Looks like something related to karma physics to my amateur eyes. |

Yes, i think Bjossi is right. There is a known UT2k4 crash to do with Karma. Could be caused by corpses, BW grenades, vehicles, anything that uses Karma physics calculations. |

Thanks. It happened while playing CTF4 (Capture the flag w. 4 teams). The Bloody Hell mutator doesn't work with it. The gore effects are mixed with the original ut2k4 effects, maybe that caused the crash... |

CTF4? How many maps exist for that? |

Issue has nothing to do with CTF4 - as previously stated it occurs with Karma objects. Happens a lot on AS-Glacier due to the ion tank. |

Azarael wrote: Issue has nothing to do with CTF4 - as previously stated it occurs with Karma objects. Happens a lot on AS-Glacier due to the ion tank. Hm... I played on Morpheus3. I'm sure this error only occurs in CTF4... What could use Karma on this map? Well, I'll try to deactivate some mods. Bjossi wrote: CTF4? How many maps exist for that? There are 12 official maps for CTF4. I couldn't find any fan-maps... P.S: CTF4 isn't CTF with 4 players. 4 teams, of course. I've edited my post. |

If you're playing CTF4 with BW, make sure the Ballistic Pawn isn't being forced. |

| Post subject: | Re: UT2004 Crashes |
A pawn is basically your guy, which you control by using a Controller (input class, not actual controller as in a handheld one). The Ballistic pawn just replaces the normal player with one which is more Ballistic friendly. However, if the gametype you're using also replaces your pawn, then problems result because the Ballistic pawn is taking the place of the gametype's own pawn. |
