The moment has arrived! Celebrates with dual BORT fireworks (some shots aimed a bit low We went a bit over the time limit to get in a few extra improvements, so hope you all enjoy them. A big thanks to the Beta testers for the useful input. I'd especially like to say thanks to Black Eagle for actually making this happen by doing most of the work. This update would not have been possible if he hadn't been willing to put in all that work. And of course, thanks to ShadowBlade for all the content work and all that other nasty stuff that had to be done. Well, if you haven't already, have fun and go get some frags! P.S. If you wouldn't mind, we'd appreciate it if you could explode or light something on fire for the team... |

OMGG!!! Thanks guys I wanna rate the guns outta 10 basically every single one of them is 1 my favourite gun is the m46 assault rifle and the MD24 the MD24 is beautiful and compact it makes it deadly and beautiful the laser is accurate adn really helps alot its steady fire rate and sticky grenade really makes me feel like im in charge my second favourite is actually joint between the BORT and the XMK5 SuBmachine gun the submachine gun is basically the buggatti vayron of guns its fire rate is like a minigun! i like it because if your surrounded you can do lots of damage in seconds the BORT is a beautiful compact dual wieldable Death gun the flare comes in handy because it can stay in the air and cause damage afar the grenade is short range but hell, its a greande 3rd is the X4 Knife, its steady slashes make it handy for stealth kills 4th and last is the skrith chemical shotgun it isnt very accurate and i only use it if i need to make traps nevertheless its an amazing wweapon and it very useful in the right hands

Hm, the ugly gore square bug does still show up at my UT2k4. Well, my favourite weapons are the Sub-Machine gun and the Reptile. The iron sights are even more useful now, good job! |

Sweetness! Some quick reviews: X4 knife: Damn this is a nice knife. Slow, but makes for one hell of a backstabber. Balances perfectly with the X3, so don't be afraid to set both as a melee weapon in replace mode. MD24 Commando: Well, it's a pistol. Fairly powerful, nice magazine size, melee secondary and LAM special. It's prettymuch taken the place of the old AN67 as my favorite, since it's well-balanced but still fairly powerful. And that reload animation is awesome, it even shows if your magazine was empty! XMk5 Submachinegun: An SMG I can't dual wield? Well, it is a bit bulky for that anyway. Packs a punch, fires fast, and is oddly quiet (might need to up the volume if that wasn't what you were going for). And that dart launcher is just evil. M46 Jackle: Powerful automatic fire, accurate, short range scope. Works wonders alone, but that proxy mine launcher takes the cake - remember, few people look up while playing FPS games. Plus, the mine itself is pretty hard to see. BORT-85: Flares and grenades. Perfect for causing pain, and the flares act like they should for once (unlike the ones in Timesplitters Future Perfect (which were more-or-less chaotic rockets) and TF2 (which don't even emit light)). A500 Reptile: Oh. Hell. Yes. Primary has a wide spread, but it hurts like a bitch, and secondary can slow people down like nothing else (who in their right mind steps into a puddle of frothing acid?!). Plus, it's a new Skrith gun - without counting weapons packs, we've only got three other Skrith weapons. |

Awesome update! I like that new AR, first time I used the mine I was like "oh and? what it does?" then got near it just to explode in my face I think it will replace my M50. the new skrith weapon is really nice too, I love the effects. and the BORT is just awesome. and the faster ironsighting was a needed thing, thank you for bringing it There is only one thing I would like to nitpick, is that the weapons don't have that "shiny" effect on them. From what I saw, all BW weapons have, so that breaks uniformity. oh and the BW regen mutator sounds promising, It can make a better gameplay. |

Glad everyone likes the new weapons, quite a bit of work, but we got a bucket load of things sorted out as well, I'm pleased with how it is..... @mzoltan: Don't worry about that stuff, its nothing critical, although I should have fixed that, it wont mess with your game in any bad way.... |

An update: quick test of the vehicles. Helicopter: Ah... this has a mite bit of a problem. Well, two actually. One: it really, really needs a machinegun of some sort. Two: It's too big. No, really - it's off-scale with the player models! Tank: Liking it so far. Nice idea to have a smoke generator on it - harder to hit from above. And the inclusion of a scope view mode was nice, just wish it had a HUD like the helicopter. |

Hmm... Y'know, just out of concern... Reptiles don't actually spew any kind of corrosive liquid. It's kinda more like a Hollywood misnomer... or the Skrith are all secretly Mortal Kombat fans. |

The thread's a bit old, but I want to add that I still get the occasional "gore square". It's never really bothered me though, I thought that was how it was supposed to be... lol. |

Untrue, it's happened as recently as two days ago when I splashed Gorge across Torlan. It is pretty rare though, it doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally. It doesn't bother me or anything though, like I said, I thought that was how it was supposed to be, so I got used to it.
