So what is your favorite laser weapon ? the weapon can be from movies animes and games (well from everywhere there is one at least) Laser weapon in therms of design Laser weapon in therms of how it acts and finally the one with the best sound in your opinion  so you only have to use this form - Design: laser weapon from X (game movie, etc ...) - How you like it works - Sound: laser weapon from "X or Y" Voilà enjoy guys

the rail cannon from ace combat 6, everytime it fires it offsets earth rotation by 12ft, it fires a lazor, that on detoation spawns 12 cruiz missils<----epic right? |

The one from Dues Ex, I think that's what it's from, is pretty cool... But laser weapons aren't really my thing... |

I prefer my lasers real. The U.S.: Bringing all those 1950's super weapons into reality, one aching, screaming, multi-billion dollar price tag at a time. Yes, this is a real railgun. Yes, it will really, really mess your day up if you get shot by it. |

I have to admit, I'm more a fan of ion beam weapons rather than lasers, even if the former only really work in vacuum. Having said that:

Probably my first laser weapon was from Turok 2 Seeds of Evil PC: The "Shredder". I love the Turok 2 weapons! Sounds, designs... yeah! Awesome weapons! |

Turok 2 haven't laser weapons, only plasma, but the plasma rifle is close to a laser rifle (it's a plasma beam rifle with sniper capability) BTW the shredder is a shotgun that allows to throw bouncing pellets. I have the PC version of the game and yeah this game is a bit legendary for its weaponry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWgwBBNWpZU a vid showcasing the weapons, the cerebral bore is a favorite of many people

yeah the aer 17 laser rifle is nice but heres where s**t gets serious theee metal blaster from fallout 3 the pitt expansion a laser SHOTGUN that was one of my favourite weapons but it still didnt beat the mighty Gauss rifle
