If you do and you would want to play multiplayer, comment... I am thinking of hosting a server... (no mods) I will be using Hamachi to make it "secure". So~ Get commenting :3 Mal P.S I would only play when Tiffanee is away but the server would be up almost 24/7... |

Minecraft is a game which is still in it's beta. it is a sandbox game, but unlike other such sandbox games you have to harvest/mine for the materials. at night monsters come out and try to eat your face... look it up on youtube or head over to their site http://www.minecraft.net/ Mal P.S Would be good to play with you, but I understand if it is not your cup of tea either =D |

I play minecraft. I have gotten tired of it a little in later days because I don't feel much fun things to do in it anymore. I don't know what would be added to keep me long time playing again. I have ideas of a few new substances that could add a little. I am curious how it will be when completed in novemeber this year. I hate to see people making crazy enormous time consuming creations. |

Minecraft comes and goes, I cannot get enough of a good multiplayer server, just they are hard to find T.T As for the time consuming-ness... I kinda just get sucked into it, thinking, "oh I will just~" Then spend about an hour making a wall out of cacti to stop creepers and such mobs... Maybe there will be a goal added in release version. I heard in 1.6 there will be maps. I sure look forward do that. Other things people suggested/created I would like to see: Better grass mod Better glass mod Finite liquid mod Lava makes glass from sand More animals More things to do in the neather The aether, floating sky islands |

I play the free beta occasionally.. Its fun-ish, but very monotonous, which makes it boring after a while..  Exploring is the best part, and some building. Wait, thats pretty much all it is...

I've got this courtesy of Kien, and I like it, kind of like a survival simulator, really. You need to establish shelter from the bad guys at night, eventually build up defenses for them, find food to keep healthy, and eventually have a big ol' fortress. I could see this being extremely fun in MP, building like a little village community and establishing a complex transport system, would be neat. Buuuuut... my laptop plays it poorly, and I'm usually on my laptop because it has internet connectivity at the moment and my big ol' lap top doesn't. And as much as I'd love to play an MP game with you, Raz, my internet type is Satellite internet, and that does not enjoy online gaming...

Eventually I'll get a long enough cord to connect my desktop up to internets and I'll be playing MineCraft a lot more, potentially non-stop depending on how addictive it really is.  On my laptop its under 10 frames per second, so its hard to play with that. I got the Optifog mod and low res texture set (though I dunno if that makes a difference) and set everything to lowest, but for some reason it seems like a slightly higher view distance gets me more FPS than the lower view distances. Confuses me. Also, is it just me, or does the addition of a muzzle loaded single shot musket sound kinda fun? You could load it up with the different material types by combining an empty musket with gunpowder/black powder and refined shot from the various materials (same ones you can make all your weapons/armor out of), and you could carry a buncha muskets on you so you got more than one shot prepared. I think it'd be fun.

Damn, sorry to hear that (and I think they do help increase the speed of the game a fair bit, mine got slower when I put in a high res texture pack XD I really like that idea, and would be a good use for the gunpowder in game =D Mal P.S if you ever do get a good connection and a PC which doesn't hate MineCraft, you are welcome along ^^ |

With my idea of sulfur or it could be possible to craft gunpowder, mixing the sulfur with something that is the closest to saltpeter we have in the game. I guess sand could be good. That would make it easier to make use of guns and make dynamite. Also real dynamite is made from nitroglycerin rather than gunpowder, which is created with sulfuric acid as one of the main components, which could be created with sulfur ore.  Nitroglycerin is explosive liquid as we know, it could be used as funny traps in it's pure form, placing it as liquid blocks that explode when stepped on. In other to make dynamite it would be mixed with clay.

Yay, Minecraft! Had it since the beginning of February and usually play with a group of friends on a community server. You might see me around here, though, because it'd be nice to get some fresh air. I mean, our town's called Haddaway and our Tribes village is called 'Cheesuschristmollno'. In 1.6 (or at worst later) there will be pistons added. Taken directly from a mod. They will be able to push static blocks 1 block distance, moving blocks like sand will fly high if pushed up in the air, same for player. My hope is that the strength of the push will be adjustable. Like you connect it with a series of redstone torches or such. |

Alright, minecraft you already have minecraft, I assume, the only other piece of software you will need is Hamachi LogMeIn http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/ after jumpting through the hoops (setting your nickname and such) click network, join a network. Then "MalMine" for the name and for the password put "Craft" then look at the IP of the network, (5.139.229.211) and type that into minecraft and you should be good to go ^^ Mal P.S I suppose I should reboot the server =P |
