Okay, this is a story i thought about, just recently, it follows through the life of a man with a special skill, he can manipulate and control energy, but only throug other objects containing energy for example, he could manipulate metal by holding metal, or manipulate, rock by holding rock in his hand,
This is a story about his life and how he became known to this power and how he used it and what power he had.
It started off funnily enough in the beginning, when he was 12 he had an accident, he was trapped under rock, which was 5 tons in weight, he knew he could push it away but any normal man couldnt, he grabbed a small piece of rock and felt it, its material became known to his brain and his brain used the energy of the rock to push the boulder that once trapped him away, he threw it infact only using his mind, it flew nearly 20 feet into the air, there was a mystical glow around the rock as it disintergrated into his hand, as he walked he felt like he was still holding the rock even though he was only holding ash, he let go of the ash and it fell down still with the mystical glow around it,
he ran home and told his mum and dad about what he did but they never believed a single word he said, and passed it off to be imagination, but then as he tuned around they saw the mysti purple glow around his hand, they told him to turn around and the glow disappeared,
When he was 17 he could generate the strange glow from nowhere and it made him feel drained, he could manifest on different objects to keep alive or even control his power, he could use the power to infact levitate objects around him, however doing it would drain him to a point where he would collapse, he went to school one morning and found his girlfriend with a black eye and crying, when he asked her what was up he found out that a boy, the hardest kid in school had punched her and taken her handbag, when he confronted the kid who was nearly 2 foot bigger than him, he said "leave NOW" and he did one thing, summoned the mystical glow, and which he threw at the bully, when he felt drained he took the energy back and took the bully's energy with him, The bully fell the the floor totally unconscious, no one could believe what happened, however it made his power known, no one knew what to do after that, when he got home he couldnt find his parents, they disappeared and he saw a blood covered note on the fridge saying "Your parents are gone and you will NEVER see them again unless you show yourself MAGE" not knowing what the word mage was he got his clothes and ran out in terror, he went to his friends but they wouldnt let him in after the day at school, There was only one person he could turn to, his uncle, His uncle was believed to be mental, but he had no other choice,
When he got there he asked his uncle if he had seen his parents, his uncle said "no son, i havnt, but me and you need to talk" they went into the livig room and sat down, his uncle said"look, your all over the news, you cannot step outside again, without been kidnapped like your parents, but i do know what it is about" he brought out a big box containing some weird things, one was an outfit which had metal around the sides and a weird belt with a crystal in the middle, and the other was a staff. He said "Its simple, you are a mage, a controller of matter and have power beyond what you could imagine, but at a cost, energy, if you draw power from yourself you could die, however if you draw power from your surroundings it dosnt last long, this is called the Archlite Staff, it was made nearly 300 years ago, and serves the purpose it was always meant to serve, it Gives you power, and alot, and you can control any matter, the staff is made of EVERYTHING, it will give you power and you will have power, with the staff you could lift entire buildings, but your mind is the weakness, you will have to practice, but it will take you a LONG time to master the staffs power.
he couldnt speak he was gobsmacked, he said "but why, what have i got to do with this.
His uncle said "you can control energy, You are a Mage"
20 years Later, he was still looking for the people who took his parents, he felt closer but sometimes felt even further away than he begun, the arclite staff could lift and destory anything, but it was doubt that shaded everyones minds, There was 3 tricks i could do with the arclite staff, first was Doombolts, which were energy balls which was powerful, the Second was levitation, i could at the moment, lift numorous cars and objects which were controlled by my mind, and thrid was Power, i could transfer the staffs energy into electricity and power most electronics with it, such things as power stations i could draw energy from, but i was still on the hunt for my parents, they people that took them left NO clues, i could sometimes read minds but even the staffs power couldnt tap into the human mind, it was rare but if i was desperate it could draw all my energy to do it, and possibly kill me.
